Brown has returned as 'Xavier Collins'. The eight-episode series promises to reveal deeper mysteries and how the world around 'Xavier Collins', a Secret Service agent, changes. Amid the buzz surrounding Season 2, let’s find out whether Season 3 is on the cards.
Ever since the first three episodes of Paradise Season 2 were dropped on JioHotstar, fans have become curious to know whether the hit series will have Season 3. Fans of the Paradise universe, rejoice. Sterling K. Brown, who is the heart of the series, revealed that the thriller series would have Season 3. The Hulu series, Paradise, was helmed by Dan Fogelman. Speaking to Collider in January, Sterling shared that when Dan had started working on the series, he knew that it would be of three seasons. He also mentioned what the audience can expect from the franchise. He was quoted as saying:
"Paradise, he knows it's three seasons. It means that he gets to build towards something with each episode. We're not trying to put filler into something just to keep it going in perpetuity. We get to build towards something. I think the audience senses the momentum that each episode has serious consequences to it, and it's building to a complete picture."
Paradise Season 2 Episode 1 introduces a new character named 'Annie'. She narrates her story from the beginning to the end of the catastrophe. The episode features 'Annie's' childhood to adulthood. When she was a kid, her mother went missing, and when she became an adult, she started experiencing trauma in her workplace. Her job helps her to hide in the basement when 'The Day' happens. Meanwhile, some suspicious men arrive at Graceland. And with one of them, 'Annie' makes love and gets pregnant.
Paradise Season 2 Episode 2 revolves around 'Xavier Collins', whose leg is badly injured due to a plane crash. Soon after this, the episode dwells between past and the present. The past shows, 'Xavier' forming a bond with his now-wife, 'Teri'. While 'Teri' lost her eyesight, 'Xavier' had become her support and ensured that everything would be alright. However, the present is far from any kind of romanticism. A group of mysterious men are following 'Xavier' and the bunch of kids with whom the Secret Service agent developed a bond. However, everything seemed like a hallucination as when 'Xavier' wakes up, the kids are gone. Meanwhile, 'Xavier' hallucinates 'Annie's' lover. In the meantime, 'Annie' finds 'Xavier' and informs him that she is taking him to Colorado. However, 'Xavier' struggles to stand up and finds himself handcuffed to his bed.
Paradise Season 2 Episode 3 focuses on the character, 'Samantha Redmond', who is better known as 'Sinatra'. The story once again goes back and forth in time. In the past, 'Samantha' had a conversation with a guy who was related to the field of science and warned her about the time to fix the world. Years later, US President 'Cal Bradford' wasn’t convinced about the environmental threat. In the present time, 'Samantha' is going through a recovery phase. Later, she puts the entire blame on 'Xavier'. The episode ends with 'Samantha's' maid’s mysterious statement, "is getting closer." In the upcoming episodes, it will become clear what will happen to 'Xavier' and 'Samantha's' maid’s deep secret.
