Pakistani actress, Hania Aamir takes a dig at Hrithik Roshan's movie, 'Fighter', and its director, Siddharth Anand, answers her with a unique response.
Hrithik Roshan's movie, Fighter, is garnering much attention from the audience, both negative and positive, ahead of its release. The Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan starrer will be the first big release of 2024. While the movie buffs can't contain their excitement to see the movie on the silver screen and enjoy the masterpiece, the others are busy criticising the film for its India Vs. Pakistani themes.
Hania Aamir is one of the most famous Pakistani actresses, with millions of fans even in India. The actress has on multiple occasions expressed her love for India so much so that at one point, she was even rumoured to be dating Indian rapper, Badshah. However, the recent developments have left us in dilemma about the criticism Pakistanis are throwing towards the film, Fighter. Sharing her views on Fighter, Hania added:
"So sad and unfortunate to know that there are artists out there in this day and age who are aware of the power that the cinema holds and still go ahead and feed the riff between the two countries. I feel sorry for the artists who try to bridge the gap by trusting their art as a medium. Distasteful; let art breathe."

As soon as Hania Aamir posted her opinion on her social media, it was reposted by several users, and replying to one of the reposts on X (former Twitter) Siddharth Anand dropped his reply to Hania. The director replied, "Oh!" at one thread, and on another of the same post thread, he replied with a thinking emoticon. Check out his responses:

Famous Pakistani singer, Adnan Siddiqui also took to his Twitter account and slammed the Indian filmmakers for creating content which is hate-filled and will only increase the animosity between India and Pakistan. He added that there should be films that promote love and no hatred, Adnan further added:
"Once celebrated for love, Bollywood now crafts hate-filled narratives, portraying us as villains. Despite our love for your films, it's disheartening. Art transcends boundaries; let's use it to promote love and peace. Two nations, victims of politics, deserve better."
Fighter is all set to grace the silver screen on January 25, 2024. It stars Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and others in lead roles. The story revolves around air force fights and their quest to protect India from enemies.
