The Emmy-nominated composer was known among the masses for his notable work in nostalgic cartoons like The Fairly OddParents and Johnny Bravo. His family took to his social media handle to confirm the news, while revealing the reason that claimed Guy Moon's life. Guy Moon's famous work also included The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Danny Phantom, among others. The music composer's passing at the age of 63 sparked grief.

Guy Moon passed away due to a traffic collision

Taking to Guy Moon's social media, his family released a statement, wherein it was revealed that the music composer passed away. Revealing the reason, the family shared that it was due to a traffic collision that the composer lost his life. No further details about the incident were shared. The statement further revealed that Guy Moon's family decided to throw a birthday party for him on February 7, 2026, in the Los Angeles area, and again sometime after in his hometown in Wisconsin. The family will keep the plan on, and revealed that the details will be shared on social media eventually. The statement could be read as:

"We are overcome with grief to announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Guy Moon. He was killed on Thursday morning in a traffic collision. We feel singularly blessed to have been able to call him dad and husband. As we stand together at the base of what seems to be an insurmountable grief, we are emboldened to grieve him with honor and courage with the tools that he equipped us with in his beautiful life. He has left an unmistakable legacy, and will be profoundly missed by us, his family, and countless others whose lives he impacted."

Yes! Guy Moon was married to Jenny. It was just before 6 months of his demise that he celebrated his 40th anniversary. Taking to his social media handle, he shared a post, stating that he completed 40 years with his wife, and added the caption with a sweet nod to the 'favourite things in life'. The statement that confirmed Guy Moon's demise also mentioned him as a 'husband' and a 'father'. He led a private life, and details about it remained under wraps. Guy Moon's anniversary post was filled with congratulatory messages from his followers. The cute caption of the post could be read as:

"40 years today with this hottie. These are a few of my favorite things."

It was in 1986 when Guy Moon moved to California, and he began his journey. Guy Moon composed for several cartoon shows, including 2 Stupid Dogs, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, among others. Apart from that, he worked on Butch Hartman shows on Nickelodeon. In an interview on Speech Bubble, Guy Moon revealed that he composed every episode of The Fairly Odd Parents, along with the title theme and every episode of Danny Phantom.

Guy Moon also has credits in Back at the Barnyard, The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, and Johnny Test. He also worked on the YouTube series Love, Diana and Onyx Monster Mysteries. The composer received an Annie Award for The Fairly OddParents, and was also nominated for an Emmy.
