Laura Ann Tull has made some shocking claims about Eric Dane days after his death. His former 'Grey's Anatomy' star has alleged that Eric mistreated her before his departure in 2012.
Eric Dane passed away on February 19, 2026 (ET) after a year-long battle with ALS. The star's demise has left everyone heartbroken. However, amid that, his former Grey's Anatomy co-star, Laura Ann Tull, has made some allegations that have left the fans stunned.
Days after the Euphoria star, Eric Dane's, demise, his former Grey's Anatomy co-star has made headlines with a series of posts about the late actor. Laura Ann Tull has made some shocking allegations of bullying against Eric and has also claimed that she played a major role in his being fired from the hit ABC medical drama. Laura, who was a background actress on the show, shared multiple messages on Threads following his death, saying, "He was a bully and a hole."
In the following posts, she alleged that Eric Dane used to bully her on the set of Grey's Anatomy and even mocked her behind her back. She called him a 'narcissist' while she was just trying to be a good actor. She added that Eric's comments contributed to what she describes as long-term professional and personal harm. She further shared how his death doesn't erase the pain he caused her and was quoted as saying:
"He was a coward who abused me. Bullied me. Made fun of me. When I had beaten cancer. When I was getting sick with an autoimmune disease. He was a stuck on himself narciscist. I was a girl who just wanted to be an actor and be good at it. But I really didn’t care for Beverly Hills or the sham of Hollywood's glam. I wouldn’t make a s*x tape. He got into my business. His dying doesn’t change [the] destruction he caused me."
However, those were not the only claims Laura Ann Tull made. The actress further alleged that she was the one who contacted the show's creator and executive producer, Shonda Rhimes' office and got Eric Dane fired. She added that she doubts Shonda will ever admit it. She was quoted as saying:
"I am why he was fired from Grey's. I called Rhimes’ assistant two weeks before they announced his termination. Rhimes I doubt will ever admit that."
Laura Ann Tull's allegations soon began circulating online. There hasn't been any confirmation or comments from ABC, Shondaland or Eric Dane's representatives on the matter. However, her latest posts were not the first time she has publicly accused the Euphoria alum. In June 2018, Laura's essay on Medium reflected on her time around Grey's Anatomy and even mentioned Eric Dane by name. Her post could be read as:
"I worked on [the] set of Grey’s Anatomy for three years as an extra, but I never spoke to Dane once. But I did hear him talk about me… I am still SAG AFTRA and I want justice for Dane’s bullying."
Eric Dane played 'Dr Mark Sloan', better known to fans as 'McSteamy', from 2006 to 2012, becoming one of Grey's Anatomy's most beloved characters. His departure was first reported in July 2012, when Shonda Rhimes told TVLine that she and Dane "did not come to this decision lightly, but after much consideration and conversations, he and I have decided that this is the right time for his storyline to end." However, Years later, Eric described that moment differently. During an appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast in June 2024, he said he believed he was "let go", suggesting rising cast costs may have played a role.
