Now, her phone recording has gone viral, in which Sunita revealed that she withdrew her divorce case because the actor and his alleged girlfriend, Komal Rani Swarnkar, plan to get married.

A phone recording of Sunita has gone viral, in which she stated that Govinda and his alleged lover, Komal Rani Swarnkar, were planning to get married. Sunita stated of being silent for the longest time. Referring to Govinda and Komal Rani as 'woh log', Sunita, according to a Zoom TV report, stated the exact reason for withdrawing her divorce case. Sunita could be heard saying:
"Maine case kal wapas le liya kyunki wo shaadi karne ke plan me the wo log. Main itna din se chup thi na, 5-6 saal. Ab tu usko meri jagah dega."
Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, have been washing their dirty linen in public. The actor is all set to make his comeback with the movie Roopa, and rumours are floating that both of them are dating. Earlier, Sunita labeled Govinda a "sugar daddy." Sunita did not stop there. She accused Govinda of being ashamed to roam with a lady who was half his age. Sunita even made fun of her husband and declared that he had lost his mind. Sunita's decision to withdraw her divorce case due to Govinda's involvement with Komal has been shocking. It is worth noting that neither Govinda nor Komal has confirmed their plans to marry.
Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, in an interview with NDTV, stated that Sunita Ahuja had withdrawn the divorce case. He was puzzled that their personal life was dragged into the media limelight and also slammed the coverage of the same. Shashi was quoted saying:
"What I’m saying is, if all of this was going to happen today, then why, after taking the matter forward for so many days, has it now come to a point where they are taking a step back and have applied to withdraw the case? It is certainly a matter of happiness, but the unfortunate part is that all the drama that has played out in the media over the past one-and-a-half to two years all of this could have been avoided.”
Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, further added that the matter could have been resolved out of the public domain. He shared that there has been significant damage to the family’s reputation in the marketplace. Shashi also shared that fights are common between many people. A lot of them deal with the same privately. However, when matters are dragged to court, the whole world knows about the same.
Earlier, in an old interview, Govinda had also shared the piece of advice his mom had given him regarding Sunita. He shared that his mother had told him that if he betrayed or left Sunita, he would end up begging for a living. Sunita and Govinda's marriage has been hogging the limelight since December 2024. This was after Sunita had filed for divorce and the petition was filed under the Hindu Marriage Act. In his words:
"My mom used to call her the Laxmi (goddess of wealth and prosperity) of our house, and it is true as well because since the day she entered my house and my life, we have never looked back."
