Sunita and Govinda, who were considered among the much-loved couples in Bollywood, reportedly are facing marital issues, some of which have spilt into the public eye, especially after Ahuja called her husband a 'sugar daddy'. The actor lashed out at his wife and asked her to stay within her limits. Speculation surrounding Govinda and Sunita's marital life began a few months back, along with the actor's link-up buzz with his recent co-star, Komal Rani Swarnkar.
Not only that, just two days ago, a call recording allegedly went viral, in which Sunita said the actor had marriage plans with Komal. Amid this, Govinda responded sternly. According to a report by IANS, Govinda has decided to take legal action against defamatory content about him. He has issued a public notice warning netizens, creators, media houses, and social media platforms against any defamatory or unverified information about him or his family. IANS reported that the public notice flags photos, videos, audio, morphed images, deepfakes, and other content generated using AI.
The actor even said that Rs. 100 crore could be sought against those guilty, while adding that he hasn't authorised anyone to manipulate his image, voice, or identity using AI or other digital technology. The warning through the public notice came just a day after Sunita's alleged call recording with Rakhi Sawant surfaced on social media.
In the alleged audio, Sunita allegedly said that she had withdrawn the divorce petition as she found out that 'they' had a marriage plan. Additionally, Sunita didn't take anyone's name; instead, she addressed the people she was referring to as 'woh'. In response, Rakhi Sawant could be heard advising Sunita to protect her financial interests while focusing on Govinda's Rs. 200 crore property.
While Govinda has not publicly responded to the alleged claims that he had marriage plans with Komal, his manager, Shashi Sinha, dismissed them. Following speculation about his wedding plans, Govinda's manager revealed that he has not heard of anything like this, and that nothing like this has happened or will ever happen. Sinha set the record straight and said that no second wedding will take place, adding that there might be something in Sunita's mind that led her to make claims about Govinda's plans for a second marriage.
For the unversed, Govinda is all set to make a comeback with the movie Roopa, where he will be seen alongside the young actress Komal. Soon, the actor's name started getting linked up with the new actress. The buzz was fuelled when Sunita, in an interview, allegedly said that she hated the name 'Komal'. On the other hand, Govinda kept being spotted with the young actress. While some have been conversing about the Komal and Govinda link-up, others wondered if it was a PR move.
