Television couple, Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy talked about their babymoon plans and also shared their family's reaction to their good news.
The cute couple of the telly world, Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy are enjoying every moment of their current phase as they are expecting their first child. In the latest interview, the duo got candid about their pregnancy and how they plan to celebrate their babymoon in the most adorable manner.
In an interview with The Times of India, Gautam and Pankhuri talked about their pregnancy phase and the doting husband revealed that they are planning their babymoon in their favourite destination, Udaipur. Sharing details about the same, Gautam said:
“We keep taking breaks and recently did a staycation at a hotel in South Mumbai. I love South Mumbai and since I stay in the suburbs, Pankhuri and I often do staycations in Sobo. But, the babymoon is special, and we are going to Udaipur for that. We love Rajasthan, we even got married in Alwar, Rajasthan in February 2018. Pankhuri and I will enjoy the city of lakes."

Further in the interview, Pankhuri talked about her pregnancy cravings and shared that she gets a lot of cravings to eat junk food and Gautam happily obliges to all her demands. In her words:
“I am enjoying this phase and look forward to the holiday. I get a lot of late night cravings and desire to eat junk food like pizza and burgers. Gautam has never refused earlier and even now when I am pregnant, he happily gets it for me. He is a fitness freak and careful about his diet but he never puts any restrictions on me.”
On April 6, 2023, Pankhuri and Gautam announced their pregnancy. The video was animated with Pankhuri and Gautam's caricatures. Taking to their IG handle, they collaboratively shared an animated video, wherein we could see clapper boards with the captions talking about their first meet as scene 1, followed by their grand wedding as scene 2. Finally, in the end, we could see the third clapper board revealing their 'good news'. Afterwards, we can spot the couple's animated version with Pankhuri flaunting her baby bump in a red-hued dress.

Sharing details about their family’s reaction to their good news, Pankhuri shared that their family was eagerly waiting to hear the good news. Pankhuri, who was last seen in the show, Madam Sir, conceived while doing the show and had to be extra careful while doing the stunts.
