An FIR is filed against superstar, Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan under section 409 (Breach of Trust).
One of the leading names in the world of interior design, Gauri Khan is one of the most renowned names in the construction world. The star wife, who leads a glamorous life and stays in the spotlight for all the right reasons, is leading the headlines over a property dispute as she is accused of breach of trust.
An FIR is lodged against Gauri Khan by Jaswant Shah, a resident of Mumbai under section 409 (criminal breach of trust). The complainant has alleged that the company, of which, Gauri Khan was the brand ambassador, failed to give possession of a flat even after charging Rs. 86 lakhs. The flat in question, which is located in Tulsiyani Golf at Lucknow’s Sushant Golf City was handed over to someone else.

Rather than being just a star wife of Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri has created a niche for herself in the design industry and has also produced some blockbuster movies. She is a high-end designer, who has designed spaces for Mukesh Ambani, Roberto Cavalli, Ralph Lauren, Karan Johar and many others.
She launched her Mumbai-based flagship design studio, Gauri Khan Designs, in 2017. Since then, she has never looked back and constantly designed aesthetically pleasing and astonishing spaces. Gauri is known for her contemporary style and gorgeous interiors. It is a hobby turned into a passion for Gauri, and we must say, she has done exceptionally well in it.

In 2018, Gauri Khan was bestowed with Excellence in Design award at the Hello Hall Of Fame Awards, and it was none other than Shah Rukh Khan, who beamed with pride as she went up to the stage to receive the award. In her acceptance speech, Gauri remarked:
“For the last thirty years, I have attended so many award functions with my husband and this is the first time that I have received an award and he is sitting right here, this one is for you."
Apart from her design studio, Gauri and her husband, Shah Rukh Khan established a production company, Red Chillies Entertainment in 2002. She serves as co-chairperson and producer of the films produced under the banner. Gauri first expressed her interest in interior design when she was renovating her bungalow, Mannat. However, in 2010, she professionally ventured into designing in partnership with Sussanne Khan.
Apart from Gauri, the complaint was also filed against Tulsiyani Construction and Development Limited Chief Managing Director, Anil Kumar Tulsiyani, and its Director, Mahesh Tulsiyani.
