The show, created by Sam Levinson first premiered in 2019, and within days it became a fan-favourite show. For the unversed, the series explores the life of a few teenagers, who struggle with different issues in their lives from drug addiction to toxic relationships. Euphoria Season 3 is all set to premiere in a few hours in the U.S. For those unaware, the series will be released on HBO Max on April 12, 2026. However, the Indian audience will have to wait for a little longer. Reportedly, the much-awaited series will premiere on the OTT giant, JioHotstar from April 15, 2026 onwards. Viewers will need a subscription to the OTT platform. It is worth noting that the reason behind this delay is unknown.
Euphoria Season 3 is one of the most anticipated and awaited series of 2026. If reports are to be believed, the upcoming season will take place five years after where the previous season left. The characters are no longer teenagers studying in school; however, they are now trying to figure out their lives. While details regarding the plot have been kept under wraps, viewers can expect the characters to struggle with career, relationships and more.
Unlike the previous two seasons, this one is expected to be more intense and serious. This time viewers will get to see all the characters in the real world and not just school. It is also worth noting that apart from the familiar faces including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer and more, the series is also expected to introduce a few new characters, adding more drama and layer to the overall narrative.
A few days ago, Zendaya appeared on Drew Barrymore's podcast, during which she got candid about Euphoria Season 3. When the much celebrated actor was asked if Season 3 is going to be the final season, Zendaya agreed to it and explained that the closure is very close. Further, she also spoke about her character, 'Rue' and stated that she learnt a lot from her and the entire crew of the series. She was quoted as saying:
"I think so, yeah. I think so. Yeah. Closure is coming! Euphoria cracked my heart open. Rue taught me so much about life. That crew, also, has seen me grow up, I owe so much to that show. Rue taught me so much about empathy and about redemption and… she taught me a lot, and I’m very grateful for all of it."
Apart from Zendaya, the head of US broadcaster HBO, Francesca Orsi also hinted that Euphoria Season 3 might be the last one. He revealed that he has no plans to extend the story. Further, he also mentioned that the viewers will be satisfied with the end of Season 3. He shared:
"We’ve talked about it. I don’t think anything is over until it’s over, but it’s been discussed that this is the end. I think you will be very satisfied with this season, and how we bring each of the characters’ whole narrative."
