Now, in new photos obtained by Page Six, the actress can be seen having the time of her life during the wedding ceremony.
According to reports, Emma Roberts and Cody John held their wedding in Sun Valley, Idaho, on Saturday. For those who don't know, the couple tied the knot after four long years of dating. They exchanged their vows in front of their close family and friends, including A-list actress Julia Roberts, who happens to be Emma’s aunt.
Emma and John’s romantic ceremony took place in 95-degree weather and went on for about 45 minutes. For her big day, Emma stunned in a white chiffon wedding gown. The dress featured a high slit, adding the perfect amount of boldness to the dress while still being elegant. She kept her blonde hair open and wore a matching headband. On the other hand, Cody looked dapper in a black tuxedo.
It is worth mentioning that, as per the photos from her wedding, Emma walked down the aisle while holding her son, Rhodes’ hand. For those who don't know, she welcomed Rhodes with her ex-boyfriend, Garrett Hedlund, in December 2020.
Reacting to her beautiful wedding, a fan took to social media and wrote, “Sun Valley wedding with Julia tearing up feels like a movie scene, congrats to them.” Another user wrote, “Love is in the air! Emma Roberts and Cody John have tied the knot in a lavish Idaho ceremony. Wishing the happy couple a lifetime of love and happiness!”
A third user penned, “Congratulations to Emma Roberts and Cody John, who are now officially married!” Another tweet read, “Emma Roberts and Cody John are officially married! Congratulations to the newlyweds on their beautiful Idaho wedding.”
Before tying the knot, Emma Roberts was engaged to Cody John for two years. She announced her engagement in July 2024 by taking to social media and posting a smiling photo of herself with her now-husband. In the picture, she could also be seen showing off her diamond ring and joking in the caption, “Putting this here before my mom tells everyone.”
Her engagement ring featured a stunning 3.5-carat round-cut diamond. Giving more insight about the ring, jeweller Laura Taylor from Lorel Diamonds shared:
"Based on the images shared, the diamond appears to be of excellent quality, possibly VVS1 clarity, indicating minimal imperfections. The choice of a yellow gold band complements the diamond beautifully, adding warmth and sophistication to the design. Considering the diamond's size, quality, and the gold band, I would estimate its value to be around USD 110,000."
For those unaware, Emma and Cody had first sparked romance rumors in the summer of 2022 when he posted a photo of him kissing the We're the Millers star. Shortly after this, it was reported that the duo were introduced by mutual friends in the industry and were “taking things slow.” A source close to the couple even revealed at the time:
“Emma loves Cody’s personality. He's really funny, and they have been having a good time together.”
Emma was initially hesitant about getting into a relationship as she wanted to protect her son, Rhodes. The source revealed the same, stating, “Emma is cautious about bringing her son around new people but knows the day will come soon.”
