As per reports, she tried to kill herself with a knife; this left many in shock. As per a dispatcher who saw Kim at home, as reported on a 911 call, she had cut her wrist and was bleeding. He added that she was sitting on the couch and listening to music, and the knife was still in her hand.
Eminem's ex-wife, Kim Scott, has been rushed to the hospital after attempting suicide. As per the new details, the person who saw her first immediately called 911 on July 15, 2026. In the audio obtained by a news outlet, it revealed:
"Caller says aunt cut her wrist and she's bleeding. She's currently sitting on the couch listening to music. The knife is in her hand, and she will not give it to the caller. Kim Mathers."
As per reports, the caller was quickly able to get the knife removed from Kim's hand after she fell unconscious. However, the current status of her health is not yet known. As people are waiting to know more about Kim's health, let's take a look at her relationship with the rapper, Eminem, and how they were married twice.
Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Scott, first met in the year 1988 when they were in their teens. They were at a house party and felt the first spark of love. The couple had been married twice, and it didn't last long each time; they ended up divorcing each other. The two are also blessed with a daughter named Haillie Jade Scott, whom they welcomed in 1955.
In fact, Eminem's songs have often been inspired by his love story, and there are many that do not paint her in the best light. Eminem mentioned their first meeting in his 2014 book. He took his girlfriend home as she needed a space to stay. It was after the birth of his daughter that Eminem's life got on track, and he took it as a wake-up call for him. He said:
"She made me get my ass in gear — to make something of my life and try 10 quadrillion times harder than I had before. Everything that I am doing right now is for Hailie ... the money — it's for her college."
Eminem and Kim first got married in June 1999, before he went on his first tour. But their marriage suffered a rocky phase from the beginning. Kim once revealed that she married him to keep him faithful to her, but it didn't work out, and in 2001, they ended their marriage.
However, the couple decided to give love another chance by remarrying on January 14, 2006, in a private ceremony in Michigan, and it was attended by close family and friends. Their divorce was finalised in April 2006, and they had an out-of-court settlement in December.
Kim's lawyer revealed that there was a lot of sadness that the marriage didn't work out. The couple has been together for 17 years. Her attorney, Michael J. Smith, said:
"There was a lot of sadness about why this didn't work out. They've been together for 17 years. They're lifelong friends, lovers, have been husband and wife, they're raising children together ... It's not the end, and it's not over between them. Kim is doing great. She is a very articulate, very smart woman. She is going back to college to study design. She just wants to be a mom and go back to college. That's what she wants to do right now."
