On April 27, 2020, Ekta hosted an 'Ask Me Anything' session on her Instagram handle and it turned into her 'Reveal your husband's annoying habits' as one of her fans asked, "Sumeet baba ki konsi harkatein Mikesh jaisi hai". To which, Ekta replied, "Sab ki sab! He says everything that he is thinking. He forgets most of the important things planned by him. Will put 100 alarms and won't wake up. He is pura Mikesh." For those who don't know, Ekta couldn't believe that she is pregnant and so, she tested thrice to confirm it. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress had revealed her reaction and had shared, "I actually couldn’t believe it only. I tested myself thrice to confirm. And then I was ecstatic." Talking about Sumeet and how he is handling the pre-baby phase, he had shared how he is not able to pamper his wife due to the lockdown. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sumeet had bared his heart and had said, "There is no room for mood swings. There is no room for cravings, she can’t demand anything and I can’t get anything for her. It is not a nice feeling. This is a time when ideally I would have preferred to pamper her with whatever she wants." On April 5, 2020, Ekta had shared the happy news of entering a mommy phase with her darling hubby, Sumeet. The actress had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a mushy picture with her hubby.
