After all, a child is what that makes a woman complete. And television producer, Ekta Kapoor had felt the biggest joy of her life exactly two years ago when she had held her little boy, Ravie Kapoor in her arms. She has ruled television with her serials, but she had always felt a void in her heart, which was filled with the arrival of her little bundle of joy. It was on January 27, 2019, Ekta had gotten blessed with a baby boy via surrogacy and had taken on the journey of a single mother. Since then Ekta's life is revolving around her work, baby and family. One look at her Instagram feed and we can see that she is acing her role as a new mommy.
On January 27, 2021, Ekta's little boy, Ravie turned two-years-old, and his mother hosted a grand party. We spotted Karan Johar's twins, Yash and Roohi arriving at the venue to wish little Ravie. Bollywood couple, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh's son, Riaan and Rahyl twinned in matching spiderman sweatshirt. Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava's daughter, Mehr was also arrived at the party to wish the birthday boy. Check out their pictures:
In the morning, Ekta had taken to her Instagram handle to wish her wonder boy. She had posted a cute picture with him and had written, "Happpiest bdayyyyy ravioli ! Nothing more to say but that u are my turning point landmark gift! I still get shocked ( in a good way) n say ‘ I’m ur mommy) I love you." He had stated, “Shobha and I were over the moon when we heard it first. We are looking forward to him coming home. Our family makes daily rounds of the suburban hospital where the baby is currently under supervision. My family says he (Ravie) looks just like me, but then, a child's looks keep changing every day. It's tough to say who he will resemble in the future. Now, I have Laksshya and Ravie — they are the apple of my eye. I can die peacefully now as both my babies have their own babies.” In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Ekta had shared how she felt when she came to know about her surrogate's pregnancy. She had said, "When I knew that the surrogate had conceived, and it was on June 7. On my birthday I got to know. I was a bit overwhelmed. I was like 'Okay this is happening. This is going to be a huge responsibility. I just wrote a show out which is going to be with an A-list Bollywood actress. It's called Mentalhood. It's about motherhood and every time we did the scripting about the Momzillas and the pressure you go through, the guilt you go through, tiger moms, helicopter moms, I was constantly feeling overwhelmed.
