Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are considered one of the most-loved couples of the television world. The duo met each other on the set of a serial, and they eventually fell in love and got married. After ten years of their marital bliss, the couple announced on March 19, 2026, that they are expecting their first child together. The couple managed to hide the same news, but no sooner did the rumours hit the headlines than the couple came forward to confirm the same. Divyanka Triptahi was in a long-term relationship with Sharad Malhotra for 8-9 years. The couple was also one of the much-loved couples in the television world. However, it was in 2015, when the actress realised that it was not working out even after giving her everything to that relationship. The actress broke up with Sharad in 2015, and was focused on her career as she was doing the popular serial, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. It was there when Divyanka and Vivek crossed paths. Vivek played the role of 'Inspector Abhishek Singh', while Divyanka was the lead, 'Ishita Bhalla'.
The duo met with each other, and reportedly, they didn't converse that much. Well, it was also reported that back then, the actors shared a similar thing from relationships, that it won't be casual but rather serious. Divyanka once shared that one of the people who was connected to the show introduced them as he felt that there were a whole lot of common things between the duo, as both of them don't drink, party or smoke. Vivek, in an interview, said that it was never love at first sight but an arranged match, after which they understood that they really had a lot of similarities. Vivek said:
"It wasn’t love at first sight. It was an arranged match. We were introduced by a common friend who is also a fellow actor. Then we started looking at each other from a life partner’s perspective. We often met after work and eventually started understanding that we are very compatible and similar to each other and we can take it further."
The couple eventually connected, and their shared values brought them together. Divyanka and Vivek fell in love and started dating. Following this, the couple got engaged. It was not a well-planned event. Speaking about the same, Divyanka once shared that they were all set to meet Vivek's parents, and even she didn't have the idea 10 days before the engagement that something like this could happen.

A star-studded reception party took place on July 14, 2016, and that's how the two hopped onto their forever journey. He also said that he and his wife had a good laugh about such stuff online, which spread false buzz about them. He also slammed such headlines which claimed that he was out there with some mystery woman. He further asked people not to fall prey to such false information on social media, which is meant to gain views and further profit. Slamming his divorce buzz, Vivek said:
"Let people think whatever they want. It's become funny now. Kuch bhi made-up kahaani banke aati hai, based on what? Base toh batao uska. Main Divyanka ke alawa kisi aur mahila ke saath airport pe spot hua - is this how you create headlines? Wow! That is so amazing, guys (slow claps). Standing ovation."
It was only a few days ago when the Hindustan Times reported that Divyanka and Vivek were expecting their first child, and the little one is due in June or July this year. Later, Divyanka gave an interview to Vickey Lalwani and confirmed that she is expecting. She also stated that she hid the same for six months, and as she doesn't go out much, it helped her to keep the news hush-hush. However, the rumours spread soon, and the couple confirmed the same as well. Taking to their social media handle, on March 19, 2026, Divyanka announced her pregnancy news.
