It was on February 22, 2018, when Dipika had said 'qubool hai' to the love of her life, Shoaib Ibrahim, and it was the start of a beautiful tale. She not only got a loving partner but a 'big happy family' that always stood for her. There have been many media interactions, wherein the actress had opened up on the beautiful bond she shares with her in-laws. In fact, when Dipika had entered Bigg Boss 12, she missed her in-laws inside the house.
On December 23, 2019, Dipika Kakar's sister-in-law, Saba Ibrahim had turned a year older and the actress had planned a surprise pink-themed birthday bash for her. Today, on December 24, 2019, Dipika took to her Instagram handle and posted a picture of the birthday girl, Saba. Alongside it, she wrote, "That's my girl glowing. She’s special. For those who don't know, Dipika and Shoaib's relationship brewed on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka. However, Dipika always resisted her feelings as she had already suffered at the hands of an unhappy marriage with Raunak Mehta. In an interview with SpotboyE, the couple had shared the details of their love story. Shoaib had stated, "Frankly, no one has officially proposed to anyone. That happened now. When we were doing the show (Sasural Simar Ka) together, there was nothing. Actually there was something. When I left the show, we realised there is something which is missing." Dipika had further added, "Yes. After that we felt that there is something between us, we are not just friends. If you ask me, we don't have a cute love story like others."
