Aditya Dhar left everyone mesmerised with his ability to leave the audience baffled through cinema. Dhurandhar, which was released on December 5, 2025, announced that it would have a Part 2. Part 2 was named Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and it was dropped on March 19, 2026, with paid previews available from February 18, 2026.

Rakesh Bedi reacts to Ram Gopal Varma's review of the film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge

People aren't able to stop talking about the movie, and what an experience it has been for those who have already enjoyed the almost 4-hour-long movie at the theatres. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has a whole lot of surprises packed within, which will lead people to be stuck on the screens, but also to cheer and scream with some twists.

Amid this, Rakesh Bedi, one of the supporting actors of the movie, reacted to Ram Gopal Varma's reaction. Rakesh Bedi is one of the stars of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, among others such as R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Ranveer Singh, Danish Pandor and others. Recently, Ram Gopal Varma reviewed the movie and drew a parallel to Sholay. Reacting to the same, Rakesh Bedi said:

"100%. See, I really want to thank Ram Gopal Varma. Because he is one person who has vehemently and vociferously always said very strong words about the film and in favour of the film, through all platforms."

Rakesh Bedi played the role of Pakistani politician, 'Jameel Jamali' in the movie, Dhurandhar. Rakesh Bedi in Dhurandhar did something similar to the title throughout the movie, and he will also bring some surprises to the audience. He was seen using his brain in Pakistani politics and getting his work done. Apart from that, he was also 'Hamza's 'Pakistani' father-in-law. Earlier, in an interview with Filmygyan, Rakesh Bedi praised Aditya Dhar. He said that the director is not a shallow person but rather someone who means everything that he says. Rakesh further revealed that while everyone was busy praising the movie, Aditya Dhar just finished the first half and sat down with his family, and he didn't even give interviews, which shows what kind of man Aditya Dhar is. While the entire movie and the actors have a different respect and love from the fans, it's Aditya Dhar who framed the mansion of this particular success, and the pillars are so strong that they are here to stay and redefine. “Iss saal Dhurandhar itni badi hit hai, aur abhi toh bas shuruaat hai. Yeh toh aadhi film hai, aadhi toh baaki hai. Lekin woh limelight mein hai hi nahi. Woh kisi ko interview nahi de raha, baat nahi kar raha. Woh apne ghar jaakar baith gaya hai. He is just with his family. He is not like, ‘Oh, maine yeh kar diya, woh kar diya…’ He is not enjoying or brandishing the pomp and show; he’s not doing that."

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been running in theatres, and people are in awe of it. People who were wondering what could be shown in a 4-hour-long movie have their answers now because there was not a single moment when there was not a surprise, and there was not a single moment when people were not screaming in joy and cheering in surprise, followed by clapping in a celebratory mood.

Dhurandhar is not only a movie with two parts, but it also has its own separate fanbase. Ranveer Singh's acting skills deserve a bow down from the audience, while Aditya Dhar as well is worthy of every praise he has been receiving.
