Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh's Total Wedding Expense Is Completely Beyond Your Imagination

Theirs has been a much speculated and most awaited weddings of 2018. Every since the fans got a meagre hint from Deepika where she said about her marriage, “you’ll soon know”, netizens and media have been waiting like crazy about their wedding announcement, until that eventful evening of October 21, 2018. It was the blissful moment for all DeepVeer fans when the couple made an official announcement on their respective social media handles about their wedding. Sharing a hindi and an english statement, the same could be read as, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness. Lots of love, Deepika and Ranveer.”

And ever since, fans have been down a final countdown until Deepika and Ranveer become each other’s forever, hours away from now. To begin with, we have a couple of inputs to share with you about the grand DeepVeer wedding. Let us start with the total wedding expense and trust us, it is something you must have never imagined! The families of both the bride and groom are residing in one of the luxurious resorts in the east coast of Lake Como. Reportedly, the entire resort is booked by the stars. An India Today report states that the average cost of a single room is 400 euros, which is equivalent to Rs 33,000 as per Indian currency. The stars have booked 75 rooms in the resort, which boils down to a total expenditure of a whopping Rs 2,475,000! Hence, for a week, the actors will shell a total amount of Rs 17,325,000! Whoa!

The report further stated that the resort has been booked until November 17, 2018, post which the booking season will be closed for the season and will reopen only March 2019. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now an officially engaged couple and have insured their wedding by a ‘Delhi-based state-run non-life-insurer Oriental Insurance Company (OIC)’, as reported by Filmfare. To all to it, the Ballad Estate office of OIC in Mumbai has issued an all-risk policy has been which will provide insurance cover to both the marriage venues, based out of Italy. The policy has been issued under the couple’s name itself- Ranveer Singh Bhavnani and Deepika Padukone. Speaking about the same, deputy general manager of OIC (Mumbai), Anil Srivastava stated in a official statement, “The policy was not a full-fledged wedding insurance policy as it covered only the jewellery items being used for the wedding ceremony. Its real value can be assessed at the time of claim only.”

For all the uninitiated Deepika Padukone fans, the gorgeous Chennai Express star is really fond of water lilies. Hence, as per an India Today report, 12 florists from Florence have flown off to Italy to decorate the wedding venue! Amazing. isn't it? Also, Deepika is all excited for her wedding and can’t keep calm! In an interview with Rajdeep Sardesai on India Today India Tomorrow she had shared, “I'm excited in the same way as I'm excited about signing my next film. Marriage is something that I've always looked forward to in my life, as would any other girl." Further speaking about her inspiration towards a happy marriage, the Happy New Year star stated, “I've seen my parents do it so well and so successfully and I think for me, that's the way I would like my married life to be as well. My parents have a beautiful relationship. The way they have managed their professional life as well as being together as a family. They have set such amazing benchmarks that both I and my sister (Anisha Padukone) would like to follow."

In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Deepika had shared this about her marriage, “When it is time, I’ll know that it is the right time. I think as an institution, it is extremely important. That’s the way I have been brought up. It is extremely important for me to see myself like that. It is every girl’s dream. I have always followed my instinct and I know that I will feel it when I am ready and when it’s meant to happen”. At yet another interview conducted around the same time with Anupama Chopra, Deepika had stated,” It’s too much a part of my life for me to say I can walk away from it. But I think that home, family, parents, marriage is very important for me. Today I can see myself as a working wife or mother. I think I’d drive everybody around me mad if I didn’t work”.

Remember how Ranveer had said sometime back in an interview that he will be shouting from the rooftops if there are any wedding announcements in the future? Well, with some energy like his, we can totally imagine Ranveer doing that! Also, this is what he had said in the interview sometime back when fans were speculating a marriage soon, “It is the function of speculation – to exist. Nothing is official till it is made official and I am not a seer. I cannot say this will happen on this date in the future. Right now, we are both extremely busy working. Besides, she is also recuperating from back problems. So, we are quite occupied and distracted. So, if there is any announcement in the future, you will be hearing me shouting from the rooftops”.
