Amid David Wilcock's supposed death, new reports suggest that the UFO expert's biographer, Wynn Free, also passed away just two days prior, raising further questions about the case.
The supposed death of popular UFO and paranormal expert David Wilcock has raised intense public scrutiny, as no one wants to believe the circumstances of his alleged passing. With the ongoing investigation about a death, possibly by suicide, in Boulder County on Monday, the internet is divided on whether the individual was Wilcock and if he really died by suicide.
Amid the speculation, filmmaker and producer Jay Weidner's claim has shed light on a new controversy. It turns out that Wilcock's biographer passed away just two days before the former's reported demise. Is this simply a "weird twist of fate" or something else?
Based on a report by the Boulder County Sheriff's Department, they received a 911 call from a mentally distressed person on April 20, 2026, and upon reaching the scene, the unnamed individual shot himself in the head and died in front of his house near Colorado's 1400 block Ridge Road. With the location and social media posts from Wilcock's close friends, the individual is believed to be David himself.
However, with the online storm surrounding the UFO expert's alleged suicide, his friend, writer and filmmaker Jay Weidner, mentioned that while he doesn't want to believe the narrative, Wilcock had been going through a challenging phase in his personal life due to legal pressure for his opinions, cyberbullying, and even death threats, along with personal struggles after his divorce from Elizabeth Wilcock.
Weidner stirred fresh speculation after posting that Wilcock's biographer, Wynn Free, allegedly died on April 18, 2026, just days before reports linked Wilcock to the Boulder County death probe. Weidner wrote on X:
"In a weird twist of fate, David Wilcock's biographer, Wynn Free, died on the 18th of April. 2 days before David. I knew both of them."
Wynn Free’s reported death has added another layer of speculation, with the back-to-back timing raising questions about whether it’s more than a coincidence. However, the situation remains unclear due to conflicting reports about when he died and no confirmed details about the circumstances of his passing.
Andrea Foulkes, the founder of Soul Freedom Awakening and a spiritual practitioner by profession, also wrote about Wynn Free's death on a Facebook post, where she mentioned Free died on April 14, 2026. Foulkes wrote:
"So two men who wrote a book on Edgar Cayce. One who believed he was his reincarnation both died within a week of each other. Wynn Free died on the 14 April 2026 and now David Wilcox dies 20 April in odd circumstances of mental instability 6 days later according to police reports. !!! Wynn Free was a familiar name in the New Age and channeling circles, especially after he co-authored David Wilcock's biography, The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?, in 2004. He was frequently seen speaking at spiritual events and hosting workshops on exploring interdimensional communication and consciousness. His Facebook page states that Free attended Central High School and lived in Flagstaff, Arizona. Besides research, he was known to write songs and poetry.
With two prominent names now being discussed within days of each other, online communities have begun drawing connections, despite zero verified links to the two deaths.
