In an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, Ronaldo revealed that he always knew that he would propose to Georgina and was waiting for the right time to do so. He told the host that Georgina had asked him for a ring as it was her dream to have a ‘good stone’.

The Portuguese soccer star revealed that he finally found the perfect ring for Georgina and was all set to propose to her after dinner. There was nothing fancy about the proposal since he didn’t choreograph it. Instead of romantic music, candlelit dinner, it was his daughters, who encouraged him to go ahead with the proposal.

In the interaction, Ronaldo revealed that it was 1 a.m. and his daughters, Alana and Eva were awake. As one of his friends gave him the ring, his daughters came right in front of him. Elaborating on the moment, he shared:

“I was given the ring, and my two girls come and they say, 'Daddy, you're going to give the ring to mom, and you're going to ask her to be married.' And I say, 'Wow, this is the right moment to say yes.' It was in the timing. I knew I would do it one day. But it was the moment that my daughters [came when I said], 'Yes, now is the time. This is what I want.’”

When Georgine Rodríguez announced her engagement to Cristiano Ronaldo, all eyes were on her huge diamond ring. In the interaction with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo said that what he loved the most about his proposal was that Georgina didn’t care about the ring but was rather focused on the gesture. He also said that she was more interested in knowing whether he was serious about marrying her.

Jewellery influencer, Julia Chafe shared details about the engagement ring after Georgina posted the first picture of the ring. Taking to her IG handle, Julia revealed that the centre stone of Georgina Rodríguez's engagement ring itself is of 35 carats, and it's an oval-shaped diamond, D-flawless. The huge stone is fixed on a platinum band, as it seems, with several other side diamonds, which deck the centrepiece.

The exact budget of the huge engagement ring isn't known, and Georgina Rodríguez or Rolando didn't spill the details about the same. However, several jewellery experts have suggested that the budget of this ring would be around USD 3 to 4 million, while some other specialists argued that the centrepiece only would have a budget of USD 5.4 million. Once in an interaction, Cristiano spoke about the ring and simply said:

“I've seen human beings get blinded by that ring when she walks around.”
