Although it remains unknown when they started dating, Chris and Elsa made their first public appearance at the red carpet during the Opening Gala for the Resnick Pavilion at the Los Angeles Museum of Art. Back in 2020, Chris recalled the early days while speaking to Elle magazine, saying that he and Elsa immediately made sense when they first met. Hemsworth also described Pataky as an individual who has a good sense of humour and a passionate attitude towards life.

The latter also announced the news on Instagram, revealing the names of her children as Tristan and Sasha.
