Chandler gained recognition as the host of the Restored Truth podcast, which focused on interfaith dialogue and scripture. Hendry built an audience across multiple platforms, with nearly 13,000 YouTube subscribers, over 48,000 Instagram followers, and almost 15,000 on TikTok. For the unversed, he was married to AnaLynn Hudson Hendry.
Although Chandler David Hendry was a popular face on social media, he preferred to maintain privacy when it came to his personal life. Notably, he was married to AnaLynn Hudson Hendry. AnaLynn’s Facebook profile revealed that she attended Mountain View High School and later The University of Utah.
Back in April 2024, Chandler shared a social media post announcing his engagement to AnaLynn. The post included multiple snaps from the proposal, which happened at an outdoor location. They featured Chandler going on his knee to pop the question, following which they kissed each other. One of the photos also had AnaLynn putting her hand on Chandler while flaunting the engagement ring. The caption stated:
“Here’s to forever!”
A few months later, the couple exchanged vows in September 2024. Chandler shared glimpses of the same on social media. AnaLynn has frequently shared posts on her Instagram handle, where she has accumulated more than 11,000 followers. She usually posts photos from the places that she has visited, and a few others feature her posing with her husband. While she is active on social media, AnaLynn’s current profession remains unknown, and further updates on the same are awaited.
AnaLynn Hudson Hendry’s Instagram bio has a link to a GoFundMe page, which was started by a person named Olivia Pizzi. The description of the page started by announcing the sudden demise of Chandler David Hendry. It stated that Chandler left an impact on the lives of many people through his social media platforms.
The page said that he helped people understand more about the gospel. The description stated that his sudden demise is a loss for his family, friends, and all those who were encouraged by his words. The page continued by saying:
“This fundraiser is for AnaLynn and Chandler’s parents to help ease the financial burden during this devastating time. Donations will go toward funeral expenses and help AnaLynn with any added needs that come up as she navigates this tragedy. Any support means so much, and the family is deeply touched by the kind comments and memories being shared by those who loved Chandler and were impacted by his life.”
Hello Saints, a YouTube channel focused on dialogue between LDS and evangelical Christians, was the first to announce Chandler’s death. In a Facebook post, the channel described him as a rising and influential voice in LDS apologetics. The statement noted that while he strongly disagreed with their beliefs, he was still seen as a fellow human being and a son, brother, husband, and friend to many. The channel also said it was praying for God’s mercy and comfort for everyone impacted by the tragedy.
Although the crash happened on August 7, 2026, Jeanteil Livingston, a spokesperson for Lehi police, confirmed on August 9, 2026, that Chandler David Hendry also died in the crash. Livingston described the accident as a three-vehicle collision.
The crash happened at the intersection of Timpanogos Highway and Morning Vista Road in Lehi, Utah. Livingston stated that Hendry allegedly ran a red light and hit two other vehicles, including a truck. Jeanteil also confirmed that the people in the other car were not hurt and that Hendry was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
