Recently, she got candid about one of the painful chapters in her bond with her late father, Hulk Hogan. The legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24, 2025. He shared two children, Brooke Hogan and Nick Hogan, with his first wife, Linda. In a recent interview, Brooke opened up about her bitter feud with estranged brother, Nick. In a recent interview with US Weekly, Brooke Hogan broke her silence on her bitter feud with her estranged brother, Nick Hogan. She explained that their once-strong bond began deteriorating over time. Brooke shared that she and Nick never had a major fallout. She revealed that they became distant when their dad, Hulk Hogan, began dating Sky Daily.
Brooke said she and Nick had both been concerned about their father getting into another serious relationship because they felt he had a pattern of quickly getting into relationships, as he did not like being alone. She shared:
"It was the fact that both of us knew my dad had a pattern, and that he couldn’t be alone for long, and we both agreed that he’s somebody that needs a companion."
In the same interview, Brooke admitted her dad and Sky Daily’s marriage gave her pause. She alleged that her estranged brother, Nick, also had similar concerns. Brooke shared that she also has screenshots of chat conversations between Nick and his wife, Tana Lea. However, when Brooke wanted Nick to openly support her and stand together with her, he did not do so. She highlighted that Nick is someone who avoids arguments and tries to keep everyone happy.
Brooke wished Nick had been brave enough to openly speak up about their father's relationship instead of staying quiet. She believed that when a person is financially independent, they can be more honest because they don't have to worry about losing someone's financial support. However, if someone depends on another person for money or other support, they may be afraid to disagree with them.
The sister-brother duo spoke at length before Hulk died of a heart attack in July 2025. Further, in the interview, Brooke shared that they were communicating before their dad passed away. She mentioned that she used to send medical notes to Nick that she had collected about their father because she was still trying to help him from a distance. After their father died, Brooke asked Nick for one of their father's personal belongings, specifically, a cross that she remembered their father often wearing.
Nick gave her two crosses, one wooden and one silver. However, Brooke claimed that neither of those crosses looked familiar to her as the one their father regularly wore. In the same interview, Brooke shared that she has not completely given up on repairing her relationship with Nick and is still open to mending their bond. However, she wants Nick to show genuine empathy. She also wants him to make a real effort to improve their relationship. She said:
"With Nick, I would have to see some empathy. I would have to see some effort. I would have to see some actual respect, not fake praise. You know, it’s easy to say, ‘Oh yeah, she has kids, and she’s got her own business, and she’s doing great. We’re so proud of her.’ But like, how do you really treat your sister behind closed doors?"
Brooke revealed that she told Nick that if he tries to hurt, manipulate, or cause problems for her, he would have to deal with her husband, Steve Oleksy, first. She added that Steve has always been kind, calm, and polite towards Nick, and Nick can contact Steve directly if he wants to.
