Bethenny Frankel is trending after she made her relationship official with Shane L. Campbell. The duo has been making headlines ever since they were spotted at an event in Miami Beach in April 2026. Bethenny shared an Instagram post on May 10, 2026, with a photo of her and Shane kissing. Although Bethenny did not reveal more details, she described the moment as a “launch” in the caption.
Bethenny is mostly known for her appearances on The Real Housewives of New York for more than ten years. While her social media post has gone viral, it has additionally brought attention to her personal life. Bethenny Frankel’s first marriage was to Peter Sussman. Although the relationship had been out of the spotlight for a long time, Bethenny opened up about it while she was promoting her show, Bethenny Getting Married, in 2010. A press release from Life & Style stated that Peter was Bethenny’s friend before they tied the knot in 1996. The marriage did not last long, and the pair separated in 1997.
Bethenny told Life & Style that Peter was the one who wanted their relationship to be more than friendship. The duo dated for two years. Although Bethenny felt that the romance made her secure, it did not have a lot of passion. She further stated:

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy’s love story dates back to late 2008 when they started dating. They got engaged in 2009 after dating for 11 months. Notably, Bethenny was expecting a child before she tied the knot with Jason in 2010. They had a daughter named Bryn in 2010. However, the marriage ended in two years as the duo confirmed their split in 2012. The pair shared separate statements, where Jason said that they will work through the situation as a family. Bethenny also mentioned that they will be co-parenting Bryn, adding that it was a priority for both of them.
However, the divorce took nine months to get finalised due to a lengthy battle related to the custody of Bryn. Although the original divorce filing requested primary custody of the child from both sides, Frankel’s attorney later claimed that Jason had allegedly hacked his client’s email, aiming to have control over her. The problem was resolved by 2014, with a custody agreement stating that the parenting duties would be shared by Bethenny and Jason.
The divorce was reportedly finalised in 2016 until the situation took a different turn when Jason was taken into custody in 2017. Bethenny Frankel accused that she and her ex-boyfriend, Dennis Shields, were dropping Bryn at school when Hoppy reportedly confronted them, saying that they cannot stop him. Jason had allegedly sent multiple emails to Frankel, saying that he would never leave. Bethenny started seeking a new custody agreement in 2018, leading to another legal battle. Frankel received full custody in 2020, and her divorce from Jason was finalised in 2021.
While Bethenny Frankel was fighting for her daughter’s custody in 2018, she met Paul Bernon on a dating app in the same year. The pair got romantically linked to each other at one point, and Bethenny revealed in an interview in December 2018 that Bernon saved her from an allergic reaction after she had a soup. Bethenny recalled the incident in a tweet and wrote:
“I have a rare fish allergy. Sunday, I had soup, itched & was unconscious for 15 mins then to ER & ICU for 2 days w BP of 60/40. I couldn’t talk, see, thought I had a stroke 7 dying & told if 5 mins later I’d be dead. 911 & EPI saved me. I’ll never not carry an #epipen.”

A few days after the event, Bethenny also shared an Instagram video, addressing the details about how she met a man. Frankel revealed that they initially connected through text messages and later met at a bar. Bethenny said that they began going out with each other frequently. She further stated:

Shane’s LinkedIn bio says that he has been working as a Senior Managing Director for FTI Consulting since 2015. He started his career at Dove Consulting and RBS Greenwich Capital as an Analyst. He was previously employed at Cronus Partners LLC as the Managing Director between 2008 and 2015. Shane obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Princeton University and later acquired an MBA from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
