'Shershaah' singer, B Praak and his wife, Meera Bachan was left heartroken after losing their second son during childbirth, but god blessed them again, and they announced their baby's arrival.
Famous Bollywood and Punjabi singer, B Praak, and his wife, Meera Bachan, are nesting again as they welcome their second child. For the unversed, they went through a dark time when, in 2021, they lost their son during childbirth. The pain of not being able to see the child live haunted the singer and his wife, but God decided to bless them again.
On December 19, 2025, B Praak took to his Instagram handle and shared the arrival of his second child. Without sharing any photos of his wife or child, in the picture note he announced the name of his newborn son, born on December 1, 2025. However, the highlight of the baby arrival announcement was Bal Gopal's picture as he was sleeping on the cloud with a mother cow and a baby cow. Below the announcement, he shared that his baby's name is Dviij Bachan. He called it a spiritual rebirth by the grace of Radhe Shyam. His announcement can be read as:
"DVIIJ BACHAN. Twice Born – A Spiritual Rebirth. By the divine grace of RadheShyam. We are blessed with a baby boy on December 1, 2025. Our hearts overflow with gratitude and joy. The sun rises again, bringing light, hope, and new beginnings into our lives."
Last year, in an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, B Praak talked about his life journey. During one segment, Shubhankar asked B Praak the reason for moving towards spirituality. To which, B Praak revealed that it was in 2021, when he lost his chachaji, and the same year, his father passed away. However, the biggest bolt was losing his then just-born son right after the delivery.
B Praak explained that when he lost his then-newborn son, everything ended; there was a lot of negativity. B Praak added he didn't know how he would tell his wife, Meera, as he thought she would never be able to handle it. He was quoted as saying:
"Mujhe yeh samjh nai aata tha ki mai Meera (my wife) ko samjhao kaise. Mereko doctor ne kaha dekho aisa hai kya krein. Mai usko bolta raha ki he is NICU. Kyunki agr hum bol dete toh vo nahi jhel paati."
B Praak further revealed that when he held the body of his dead son, it felt too heavy to hold. After doing his last rites, when he came back to the hospital room, it was his wife, who cross-questioned him as he didn't show her even the face of their son.
For the unversed, B Praak had tied the knot with Meera Bachan on April 4, 2019. And in the year 2020, they had welcomed their first child. In April, B Praak had shared an adorable picture of his wife flaunting her baby bump on his IG handle. The couple had shared they were awaiting the birth of their second child in 2022, but God had different plan for them as they lost their son right after the birth.
