US influencer, Ashlee Jenae's death has left a lot of suspicion on her fiance, Joe McCann as he informed her family of her passing after 11 hours. He claimed that she died by suicide.
Ashlee Jenae, who was a rising U.S influencer, passed away in a shocking turn of events. Just a few days ago, Ashlee had celebrated her 31st birthday, and what seemed to be the start of a happily ever after, turned out to be a death scandal. Ashlee was found dead during the same birthday trip at a Tanzanian hotel.
As her family is waiting for the investigation to be completed and the truth to come out, all eyes are on her fiancé, Joe McCann. He has been facing the rage as people are wondering what happened on the birthday vacation and why he took 11 hours to tell her family about her passing.
After reports of Ashlee Jenae's death surfaced, fans started digging her Instagram feed. That's when they stumbled upon a carousel from one of Ashlee's date nights with her then-beau, Joe McCann. The two were enjoying a special time on a flight, eating food, and enjoying each other's company.
However, fans were quick to notice how Joe McCann gave Ashlee an angry look, which seemed like he had an issue with her. Ashlee also shared a video of their time together, wherein he was clicking her video, and he seemed uninterested. Fans quickly shared their opinion on the same, and revealed how Joe's eyes tell a different tale about their relationship.
One user wrote, "3rd slide, why is he looking at her like that?" Another one penned, "If you have a spiritual eye, you would look at the picture, and you would notice right away! How sad." One of the users also mentioned how unknown people following Ashlee got a gut feeling that she was in danger 20 weeks before her death, "It's definitely quite interesting to see the number of people saying that she was in danger 20 weeks ago. Their gut feeling was on point."
After family and friends dismissed the claim that Ashlee committed suicide, a report by TMZ revealed shocking details of what happened hours before her death. The entertainment US portal claimed that Ashlee and Joe had a heated fight at the Zuri Zanzibar resort. North Unguja Regional Police Commander, Benedict Mapurija, also revealed that the fight escalated to a level that hotel staff had to intervene and separate the two into two different rooms.
After which, the hotel staff alerted the local authorities about the dispute between the couple and a report was filed at Nungwi Police Station. However, it was after this fight that Ashlee was found unconscious in her villa. She was soon rushed to a hospital, where she died the following day, as per the police authorities. It is worth mentioning that reports claimed that Ashlee died by suicide, but officials have not issued a statement confirming the same. They have continuously stated that the case is being investigated.

After celebrating a dreamy 31st birthday and getting engaged on April 5, 2026, she passed away on April 11, 2026. However, the exact cause of her death is still under investigation. Amidst it, several reports stated that her fiancé, Joe, claimed that Ashlee had hung herself in the hotel room where she was found dead. While some other reports claim that she was found unresponsive in a hotel room.
