US influencer, Ashlee Jenae, whose real name is Ashly Robinson, passed away under suspicious circumstances, and now the entire matter is being investigated, as reported. It was initially reported that Ashlee was missing after she was out on a trip with her boyfriend, Joe McCann. It was on the trip that Ashlee celebrated her birthday and was even proposed to by Joe.
Well, a few days later, the influencer passed away, and the mystery around her death has been deepening. Joe McCann is now under public scrutiny, as it's not adding up to others that Ashlee could have done something to her that would have taken her life. Her death was reported to be caused by suicide, and as per the medical reports, it was claimed that the influencer's neck featured an unidentified mark, claiming that she passed away due to strangling from a door.
Ashlee Jenae was reportedly found unresponsive in her villa at the luxurious hotel, Zuri Zanzibar, and was taken to a hospital. It was reported that Ashlee was taken to a second hospital as well after she was found hanging from a door in her villa. And following this, she was reportedly pronounced dead. Now, staff members have revealed something that has grabbed significant attention.
According to North Unguja Regional Police Commander Benedict Mapujira, Ashlee and her fiancé, Joe McCann, had a major fight after their engagement, so much so that the staff members had to intervene and separate them from each other, and keep them in separate rooms.
On the other hand, Ashlee's parents had a conversation with 6ABC, wherein her mom shared that she would never believe that her daughter could do something like killing herself. Ashlee's emotional mom, in the interview, said that she was FaceTimed by her daughter, who called them to let them know that she got engaged to Joe McCann. As per Ashlee's mom, it was only after one day that she received a call from Joe McCann, who told her that the influencer had done something to herself. Ashlee's mom mentioned that she got the news after 11 hours.
A local channel mentioned that police had labelled the cause of her death as suicide. However, Ashlee's father had a conversation with TMZ, where he revealed that it was an early narrative from the authorities, and now the family is involved, and the investigation has been ongoing, with no official confirmation given about the cause of her death. Amid this, one of Ashlee's old posts has been making rounds on social media. It was back in 2013, when Ashlee posted a tweet, saying, 'suicide is never an answer'. With this old post and all the suspicion around her death, people, as well as her family members, were left confused.
To mention, while speculations are up about Joe McCann and his involvement in this case, he has not been publicly charged or detained. While the influencer's family and friends continue to focus on the suspiciousness of her passing, no official autopsy report or toxicology results have been released to the public, making the situation even more complex. On the other hand, an unverified tweet has been doing the rounds claiming that Joe McCann was already married to someone else. However, there's no confirmation of the claim, and it seems to have stemmed from pure speculation.
