When Ashi Chouksey was in 9th grade, her school provided an impressive opportunity for its students to get a chance and enrol for a one-day experience at the NCC camp. It was a massive opportunity for students to see how things work at an NCC camp, and Ashi enrolled in the camp immediately. During her one-day session at the NCC camp, she did a lot of physical activities, but it was her connection with rifle shooting that changed her life forever.
Ashi Chouksey participated in a drill in which she had to shoot at the targets from a distance of 50m and performed quite brilliantly in it. Without prior training or shooting experience, the way Ashi performed stunned everyone. She fell in love with shooting immediately and decided to pursue a career in it after her experience at the NCC camp.
