While there is not much information about Asha Bhosle’s last appearance, a report by The Times Of India claims that she was last spotted on March 5, 2026, at the lavish wedding of Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun. For the unversed, Arjun Tendulkar tied the knot with Saaniya Chandak. Bollywood celebrities like Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Jay Shah and more.
Coming to the late singer, Asha Bhosle, she graced the wedding ceremony in a beautiful white saree. Asha Bhosle looked absolutely happy and graceful as she posed for the paparazzi with a huge smile. She left her hair open and completed her look with pearl necklaces. If reports are to be believed, this was the last appearance of the Sharara singer before her tragic death at the age of 92.
While fans and celebrities are mourning the death of Asha Bhosle, former cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar, a few hours ago, took to his Instagram Story to pen a heartfelt tribute for the late singer. In his note, Sachin Tendulkar explained that Asha Bhosle was nothing less than family to him. Talking about the unexpected demise, Sachin explained that it looks like the entire time has paused. His heartbreaking note can be read as:
"A deeply sad day for India, and for music lovers across the world. For us, Asha Tai was family. Today, words feel too small for the loss we feel. One moment the heart falls silent, and the next, it drifts through the countless melodies she gifted all of us. It feels as though time itself has paused. Yet through her eternal songs, she will remain timeless forever. Thank you, Tai, for filling our lives with warmth, grace, and unforgettable music. We will miss you beyond words, Asha Tai."
Asha Bhosle is one of the most legendary singers, who has given iconic songs like Le Gayi, Abhi Na Jao Chod Kar, Yeh Wada Raha, Aao Na, Tumse Milke, Jawani Jan-e-man and more. She has ruled the music industry for several decades. For the unversed, Asha Bhosle has sung songs in more than 20 languages. Some reports also claim that Asha has sung around 12,000 songs in her long career.
In her personal life, she faced multiple issues, from daughter’s suicide to rift with sister, Lata Mangeshkar and an abusive marriage. Reportedly, the main reason behind the rift between Lata and Asha was the latter eloped with the former’s then-secretary, Ganpatrao Bhosle. Even though the family was against it, Asha got married to him. Asha Bhosle once spoke about the rift and shared:
"People did carry tales and try to create trouble, but blood is thicker than water. I remember, sometimes both of us would be at a function, and some industry types would ignore me and interact only with her, as if to prove their loyalty. Later, didi and I would have a good laugh. There never was any professional rivalry between us. She evolved a completely different style of singing from me. What she could do, I couldn't do."
