An insider for the outlet claimed that the pair first met “around awards season” in 2026 and have been casually dating. However, the source also stated that the duo has preferred to maintain a low profile in terms of their relationship by going on dates in New York City over the last few months. The insider continued by saying:
“Both Sarah and Joe are very intellectual, private and laid-back people, so it feels like a really compatible match. They share similar personalities and enjoy spending time together away from the spotlight.”
The rumours of Joe and Sarah’s relationship started in June 2026 when they appeared together in Brooklyn. A picture of the duo also grabbed a lot of attention, where they were reportedly enjoying some drinks while kissing each other.
While the alleged romance reports involving Sarah Pidgeon have brought Joe Alwyn into the limelight, he trended a few years ago for his relationship with Taylor Swift. The duo was romantically linked for more than six years until they separated in 2023. The romance was in the headlines during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 when Taylor and Joe worked together on a few projects, including the latter’s contribution as a writer in Swift’s albums, Folklore and Evermore.
