In a recent interview, Anushka Sharma talked about her pregnancy journey and revealed that she really wanted a baby shower.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are amongst the most sought-after couples in the glamour world. The duo had begun their forever journey on December 11, 2017. After three years of marital bliss, the lovely couple had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their baby girl, Vamika, on January 11, 2021.
On October 13, 2021, Anushka had posted a lovely picture with her daughter, Vamika, from their Ashtami celebration. In the photo, we could see Anushka laughing her heart out with her daughter, Vamika. Alongside it, Anushka had written:
"Making me braver and more courageous every day. May you always find the strength of the goddess in you, my little Vamika. Happy Ashtami."

In an interaction with the fashion magazine, Grazia, Anushka Sharma opened up about her pregnancy journey. During the interview, Anushka revealed how desperately she wanted to have a baby shower, so much so, that she was willing to host one for herself. Since it was difficult to get everyone quarantined, Anushka had to ditch the idea of a big baby shower celebration and instead opted for an intimate ceremony. Talking about the same, Anushka retorted:
"So I ended up having a small ceremony at home, with my immediate family in attendance."
A few gays back, Anushka and Virat's daughter, Vamika had attended her first Halloween party. Anushka had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared adorable IG stories from the fun day. In the photos, we could see Vamika looking gorgeous as she was dressed as a fairy. She had donned a pink dress with pink wings. We had also spotted Anushka and Virat posing with the kids from their Halloween bash.

Time and again, the stunning actress, Anushka Sharma shares glimpses of her baby girl, Vamika, on her Instagram handle. For instance, on October 18, 2021, the gorgeous mommy had taken to her IG handle and had posted a candid picture of her hubby, Virat Kohli playing with their daughter, Vamika. In the photo, we could see Vamika was playing inside a ball pool while Virat was laughing out loud. Alongside it, Anushka had written:
"My whole heart in one frame."
It was almost after a month that Anushka Sharma had shared the first family picture with her husband and newborn daughter, announcing her name. She had written:
“We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy.”
On the professional front, Anushka Sharma will be next seen in the film, Kaneda.
