The sudden demise of travel influencer, Anunay Sood has left everyone heartbroken. For the unversed, on November 4, 2025, Anunay was found dead in his Wynn Las Vegas hotel room. He was just 32 when he passed away. It’s been a month since the shocking incident. Among many, it was Anunay’s girlfriend, Shivani Parihar, who was totally heartbroken and had penned a heartfelt note. However, now it seems she has not yet moved on from the tragic incident. She shared an emotional note in his memory.
On December 4, 2025, Anunay Sood’s girlfriend, Shivani Parihar, recalled the times they had spent together. Shivani shared that it had been a month since she had heard Anunay’s voice. She mentioned that people often tell her that time heals everything, but as time passed, the only thing she could understand was that she deeply misses him. She recalled a special song that the influencer used to sing for her in his own way. She wrote:
"It’s been a month today… A month since I heard your voice, since you laughed that stupid laugh, since you called my name like only you could. Everyone keeps telling me time heals… but time has only made me realise how deeply I miss you. You know what’s the worst? Our song. 'Tu chhodiya na haath mera.' You used to sing it to me every single time, half in sur, half out of sur… and I’d pretend to be annoyed. But today, I’d give anything literally anything to hear you sing it again. Even for a second."
In the same note, Shivani shared that she still feels that Anunay is reminding her that he is still there for her. Sharing this feeling, Shivani mentioned that this is the only reason behind staying strong in this tough time. She expressed that, although he is not present, she can feel his presence in everything, including his songs, memories, words and in the way he loved her. She wrote:
"I still feel your hand in mine sometimes… like you’re gently reminding me, 'I’m still here, idiot. I’m not letting go.' And maybe that’s what’s keeping me standing right now. Because even though you’re not here the way you were… A part of you hasn’t left me. It’s in your songs, your memories, your words, the way you loved me. And I’m holding onto that. I’m holding onto you."
Shivani concluded the heartfelt note, recalling the time when she met her boyfriend, Anunay Sood. She shared that he entered her life just like an angel. She highlighted how he taught her to love life, to be fearless and more. She called Anunay her 'safe space', her 'home' and her 'everything'. She added that she missed him more than she ever said to him. She wrote:
"You came in my life like a farishta, you taught me so many things, how to live your life, how to be fearless, everytime I used to be scared you’d be like- goluuuuu mein hu na tension mat le. You were my safe space, my home and my everything. I just hope you know. That I miss you more than I ever said. More than you ever knew. More than these words can ever explain."
Soon after Anunay Sood’s family confirmed the disheartening news of his death, Shivani took to her Instagram Stories and shared her disbelief about the following. She shared that her heart felt heavy and everything around felt empty without his presence. She mentioned that they were planning their future together; however, after his death, she is just processing the grief.
