Ankita Lokhande faced backlash by netizens for posting a picture with her boyfriend, Vicky Jain ahead of Sushant Singh Rajput's death anniversary!
Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput’s love story had started way back in 2009 when the two had met for their show, Pavitra Rishta. The two had made such ardent fans that they were eagerly waiting for them to announce their wedding, but the news of their breakup in 2016 had broken them. While they had always shipped Ankita and Sushant together, the actor’s demise had destroyed it all.

After her breakup with Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita had moved forward in her life and had found love in a businessman, Vicky Jain. Sushant’s sudden death on June 14, 2020, had Ankita in a miserable state, however, the actress had still maintained an honest relationship with her beau, Vicky Jain, enough that the couple often faces backlash on social media.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s one year death anniversary was no different as Ankita Lokhande faced backlash from SSR’s fans. Taking to her IG handle a few hours back, Ankita shared a picture with her beau, Vicky Jain, walking holding his hand. She captioned the picture as “Perfect together!” Soon, SSR’s fans started targeting her.
Yes, Ankita’s picture with Vicky offended many of her fans as they started commenting that she looks perfect only with Sushant. Some even went on to say that Ankita is not even concerned that it is Sushant’s death anniversary. While one user commented, “Yeah right You're perfect together but you and shushant were best couple Ahhh,” another one wrote, “14 june kis kis ko yaad hai?? Missing u SSR sir.”
After Sushant’s death, Ankita’s boyfriend, Vicky had to face hatred over social media that he had to limit his comments section. Sushant’s death had brought his relationship with Ankita back to the spotlight and netizens had started sending hate comments on Vicky Jain’s social media handles, asking him to “leave Ankita.” This had made Vicky limit down his comments on his social media handle.

On November 2, 2020, Ankita had shared a picture with Vicky, expressing her feelings for him and had also apologised to him for the hatred and criticism, he had to go through because of the actress. She had written, “I can’t find the words to describe my feelings for you. One thing which come in my mind when I see us together is I’m greatful to god for sending u in my life as a friend, partner and as soul mate. Thanku for being someone who was always there for me.”
Ankita had further thanked him for being her support system and had sought an apology. She had added, “Thanks for making all my problems as yours and helping me whenever I needed you.Thankyou for being my support system. Most important thanku for understanding me and my situations And I am sorry because of me u hv face criticism which u don’t deserve at all. Words fall short but this bond is amazing I love you @jainvick.”
