Anita Hassanandani turned 40 and is celebrating her first birthday as a mother. Her BFF, Ekta Kapoor shared her baby shower video and penned a wish for her.
Anita Hassanandani and Ekta Kapoor have known each other for years now and they're not just BFFs, but family to one another. Anita has been a part of Ekta’s production house, Balaji Telefilms' various projects like Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Naagin and others. While Anita pampers Ekta’s son, Ravie Kapoor as her own child, Ekta’s happiness on being a maasi to Anita’s son was also evident on the day of her delivery. Their thick bond is quite evident as from partying together to taking care of each other, we have seen it all.

Ekta was the one, who had hosted a grand baby shower for Anita and now, she has shared a video from the same to wish the actress on her 40th birthday. Recalling the grand baby shower, hosted by Ekta Kapoor for Anita Hassanandani, it was on December 20, 2020, when the then-pregnant Anita was surprised by her friends. Anita had shared an adorable video on her IG handle with Ekta and their gang from the party, where Ekta was seen asking everyone behind her, “Is it a man? Is it a Superman? What is it, guys?” And everyone had shouted excitedly, “It’s a baby”. Anita had captioned the video as “Omg OMG Omg Itsssss a baybeeeeeeee! Thank you thank you @tanusridgupta @ektarkapoor for this amazinggggg evening! I love you guyssssssss.”
Now, as Anita has turned 40 and her birthday celebrations had begun right when the clock had stricken 12, her BFF, Ekta Kapoor ensured to wish her with a video from one of the most memorable days of her life. Taking to her IG handle, Ekta shared a video from Anita’s baby shower, where the BFFs can be seen posing for the camera and later, they had opened up a champagne. As it is Anita’s first birthday as a mother, Ekta’s birthday wish for her was all about the same. Ekta wrote, “Happie bday my hottie! Have a diaper year with Aarav n Ro! Ur bday we will celebrate again when we fight corona fully.”
With Anita and Rohit becoming mummy-papa on February 9, 2021, her BFF, Ekta Kapoor too had become a maasi. The producer was with her actress-BFF during her delivery and had expressed her excitement by sharing stories on her IG handle. Taking to her IG handle, Ekta had shared a video with Anita, where the new mom could be seen lying on the bed, ecstatic after welcoming her son. While Anita was on the bed, Ekta had asked her to pose and the new mommy had happily posed for the video. Ekta could also be heard saying, “Congratulations! Mera bhanja hua hai.” Sharing the video, Ekta had mentioned that now they will not have to discuss their work-life as they have babies. She had written, “When u realise ur not gonna b discussing work n lovelife but babies now! Congrats @rohitreddygoa n @anitahassanandani welcome to the mummy daddy club!! While the two mommies had enjoyed each other’s company, Ravie had spent time with his mommy's BFF's newborn baby, Aaravv in the presence of their caretaker. Ekta had taken to her IG handle to share a hilarious glimpse of the same. Ekta had posted a video on her IG stories as the two mommies had made a cute video on the then-viral meme ‘Pawri ho rahi hai’ depicting how their kids were doing chid-chid.
