In the recently released promo of 'Bigg Boss 19', Amaal Mallik and Gaurav Khanna are seen debating on the never-ending topic, nepotism.
Bigg Boss 19 is a popular reality show, hosted by Salman Khan, which recently gave a shocker to all the viewers, with the mid-week eviction of social media content creator, Mridul Tiwari. Well, now in the recently released promo of the show, Amaal Mallik and Gaurav Khanna are seen locking horns on one of the most talked-about topics, nepotism.
Nepotism has been one of the longest-running debates in Bollywood, but now it has reached the Bigg Boss 19 house as well. On November 13, 2025, the makers of the show released a promo from the upcoming episode, in which Amaal Mallik and Gaurav Khanna were seen talking about nepotism. Soon, their conversation ended up in an argument.
The promo begins with Gaurav Khanna saying, "Pehle darwaza opportunity ka khulta hai, wo talent pe nahi hota. It is, if you know the right people." Hearing this, Amaal quickly jumped into defending himself and said, "Bhai, koi bhi star aap rakhlo, ussi tarah ki struggle hoti hai ek artist ki." Then Malti Chahar shared, "Struggle same nhi hoti, mehnat same hoti hai."
The CID actor then said something, which reminded the audience of Sidhant Chaturvedi. He said, "Jahan tera struggle shuru hua hai, hum aspire karte hai." Daboo Malik’s son, Amaal replied, "Maine kabhi deny nahi kiya ki kisiko foot-in-the-door moment nahi mila", but before he could finish, Gaurav said, "Main foot-in-the-door moment ki hi baat kar raha hu ki wo milna easier hai." Then, Amaal Mallik, who looked visibly frustrated, replied:
"I am not trying to wage a war with you, main fact pe fact pe fact phek raha hu. Hum reverse nepotism ke product hai sir."

Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan premiered on August 24, 2025, and since the first week, viewers have accused the makers of favouring the musician, Amaal Mallik. In the past 11-12 weeks, Amaal has used harsh and hurtful language among many of his co-contestant, but he has never been schooled by Salman Khan. Weeks ago, his father, Daboo Mallik addressed the accusations of makers favouring him and shared:
"People have to understand that Amaal is not somebody who is doing the maximum number of films. He is not the one who is calling the shots. He is just like any other musician who has done some good work and has been appreciated. He doesn't have the clout that people are thinking. It is the kind of self-thought everybody is developing, and they are putting him and me on a pedestal."
Amaal Mallik is a popular musician in the Bollywood industry. For those who don’t know, he is the son of Daboo and Jyoti Malik. He is also the elder brother of singer, Armaan Malik. Amaal and Armaan started their career by writing songs for Jai Ho. And since then, Amaal has created hit and iconic songs like Chale Aana, Kaun Tujhe, Salamat, Soch Na Sake, Buddhu Sa Mann, Kar Gayi Chull, Jab Tak, Aashiq Surrender Hua, Chal Wahan Jaate Hain and more. Currently, he is appearing on the reality show, Bigg Boss 19.
