Now, the actress broke her silence on getting married for the second time after her divorce from Gaurav Khanna.
In the latest episode of Lock Upp 2, Akanksha Chamola was seen talking about her plans to marry again after her divorce from Gaurav Khanna. She revealed that she got married at the age of 24. While talking to Pamela Serena inside their cell, Akanksha also shared whether she would get married again. To this, she revealed that she has no intentions of getting married again after she gets divorced.
Ever since, Akanksha entered the reality show, which is starring on Netflix, netizens are judging her every step. Now, recently they went on to claim that she is extremely dominating. One user pointed, "She is very dominating. Not taking any sides but no wonder personalities like Gaurav and Akanksha can’t be together." Another netizen commented, "I don't know like she is all bubbly nd all but it looks fake. everything she does looks fake to me."
In another episode of Lock Upp 2, Akanksha found out that Shreya Kalra made her secret public and revealed that she is bisexual. For those who don't know, Shreya overheard Akanksha talking about her secret backstage during the show. Akanksha looked shocked as she found out that her secret was revealed without her knowledge.
Akanksha admitted that she was bisexual before marrying Gaurav. She even went on to claim that she had a relationship with girls. She added that she likes girls, admires them, and is attracted to them. She called it her safe space. She also stated that since it is a male-dominated world, she was always more inclined towards her mother and sisters, as she got the beautiful feminine energy from them.
Akanksha added that they live in a society where they say that women cannot stay friends. But this is not the case with her. She said:
"Mujhe ladkiya pasand hain. Main admire karti hoon, main attract hoti hoon unke taraf. I think mera woh safe space hain. Growing up, mujhe lagta hain ki it's a very male-dominated world toh humesha aap mummy, beheno ke taraf jaate ho… kahi na kahi jo comfort zone unse milta hain."
In another one, Akanksha Chamola shared details of their separation. She talked about her decision not to embrace motherhood. She stated that when she was in the marriage with Gaurav, she didn't feel like having children; she had no maternal instinct. Slowly, she realised that she wasn't meant to be a mother, and he was okay with it. But over time, things shifted, and then he wanted to have kids, and she couldn't give him that.
Akanksha added that she realised that Gaurav wanted to have kids eagerly, but they were no longer on the same page. She stated that she didn't have any motherly instinct, and she clearly told her husband about it. Not only this, they had a discussion where she told him that if he wanted to leave her, he also could, as people marry to have kids and to make a family.
She further stated that Gaurav was not wrong in wanting to have children. However, when Bigg Boss happened and what Gaurav shared on national television made her realise that she cannot give him what he wants.
