Akanksha Chamola, recently opened up about her viral dance during the promotions of 'Dil Dhokha Desire' and revealed that she was not comfortable.
Gaurav Khanna’s wife, Akanksha Chamola has been grabbing a lot of attention since the past few weeks. For the unversed, the actress dominated the headlines during the promotional event of her webshow, Dil Dhokha Desire, where her dance performance with her co-stars raised questions on her marriage with the Bigg Boss 19 winner. Well, now during a recent interview, Akanksha Chamola opened up about the incident and revealed that she expected her co-stars to behave a little more responsibly.
During a recent chat with Hautterfly, Akanksha Chamola opened up about her performance with Ali Hasan and Kunwar Amarjeet Singh. She revealed that the entire act was pre-planned by the director. She stated that they had already shot a small reel to promote their show and during the event, they had to recreate it. Further, she explained that her dress restricted her movements. She explained that people misunderstood her discomfort.
Further, Akanksha Chamola mentioned that the performance was supposed to end with a RK pose; however, it continued because the audience liked it and were cheering. The actress shared that her co-star got carried away in trying to entertain the audience as much as they could. Akanksha Chamola was quoted as saying:
"We were briefed that I would perform with the bodyguard character, and then the actor playing my husband would step in and separate us — that was meant to be the end of the act. Things happened in the heat of the moment. In my mind, we were already wrapping up because the director had suggested ending with a RK pose. But the act continued due to the loud applause from the audience. I think in that excitement, my co-actors got carried away and tried to give the audience something more."
During the same conversation, Akanksha Chamola spoke about her co-stars and shared that even though their intentions were pure, they could have behaved a little more responsibly. The actress explained that when an actor is performing in front of a huge crowd, they should understand and respect their co-star’s boundaries. In her words:
"I’m not questioning their intentions — I don’t believe it was planned or done with any wrong motive. But I do feel that more responsibility was needed. When you’re performing publicly, especially in front of the media, you also have a moral duty to respect your co-actor’s boundaries."
Gaurav Khanna’s wife, Akanksha further stated that she was not comfortable with everything that happened on stage; however, she chose to stay calm. She further explained that the situation would have been weird and uncomfortable for any gender, especially when someone is not mentally prepared. Akanksha Chamola revealed:
"I wasn’t comfortable. I was trying to stay composed instead of reacting the way I felt in that moment. Just because I didn’t react strongly doesn’t mean I was enjoying it. I wasn’t. Put yourself in that position, regardless of gender, being caught between two people unexpectedly is not a comfortable situation, especially when you weren’t prepared for it. If I had known it was part of the act beforehand, I would have handled it differently."
Akanksha Chamola is a popular actress; however, she is best known as Gaurav Khanna’s wife. If reports are to be believed, the actress has been part of TV shows like Can You See Me, Swaragini, Bhootu and more. While Gaurav was in the Bigg Boss 19, the actress grabbed attention due to her decision of not having kids. Most recently, she made headlines for her web-show, Dil Dhokha Desire.
