According to recent reports, Aishwarya Rai was once offered to dance in the film, Ram Leela’s song, Ram Chahe Leela. However, the lyrics had a connection to Aishwarya Rai’s ex-boyfriend, Salman Khan’s film, Dabangg. Reportedly, Aishwarya had asked the director to change the lyrics, but he refused to do so. Hence, she opted out of the song, which was later performed by Priyanka Chopra. The lyrics which Aishwarya wanted to alter was:
“Thappad se nahin pyar se darr lagta hai”
Earlier, the entire cast of Ponniyin Selvan: I had gone to the most loved comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show. However, we did not see Aishwarya Rai on the couch. Yes, you heard that right! The former Miss World skipped The Kapil Sharma Show, and netizens are guessing it is because her ex-boyfriend, Salman Khan is the producer.

In an old interview with The Times Of India, Aishwarya Rai had opened up about her breakup with Salman Khan for the first time. She had mentioned how Salman used to abuse her physically and suspected her of having affairs with Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. In her words:
“Salman and I broke up last March, but he isn't able to come to terms with it. After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened.”
For the unversed, Aishwarya and Abhishek are proud parents to a beautiful daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.
