Abhinav Shukla Becoming Rubina Dilaik's Personal Hairdresser Gives Major Husband Goals, Video Inside

June 21, 2018, witnessed the union of two lovebirds, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla when they walked down the aisle, exchanged wedding vows and became each other's forever. Rubina and Abhinav became mister and missus in a simple wedding at the Woodville Palace, Shimla amidst close friends and family. Ever since Abhinav and Rubina started dating, they have been giving us major relationship goals. Recently, Rubina posted a video on her Instagram handle wherein we can see her doting hubby, Abhinav dressing her hair. Rubina captioned the video as, "A #lover A #husband A #friend An #advisor A #photographer and sometimes A #stylist... YOU @ashukla09 Will be my everything FOREVER and ALWAYS." Here’s the video:

Did you know Rubina planned a special gift for Abhinav, post their wedding and it took her four months to prepare it? In a throwback interview, talking about her gift for Abhinav, Rubina had stated, “It took me four months to create the song, Teriya Mohabbataein, which is a Hindi and Punjabi mix. It’s my gift to Abhinav, as I wanted to dedicate him something in his mother tongue. Everybody expected me to dance, but I wanted to do something unexpected. I made an audio-visual representation of our relationship, sang the song, recorded it and played it. It was like a musical skit, which was enacted by my friends. That was the highlight of the evening.”

Acknowledging the khatirdaari of Dilaiks and sharing that Rubina’s gift is the best gift he has ever received, Abhinav shared, “The Dilaiks impressed us with their warmth and hospitality. The song that Rubina dedicated to me is the best gift I have ever received. Rubina’s mom gave me an outdoor watch, which I was planning to buy since a long time. My mother gave Rubina some traditional jewellery, which she has inherited.”

On June 28, 2018, Rubina and Abhinav hosted a star-studded and most extravagant wedding reception ceremony in Mumbai. And the couple exchanged their secret wedding vows which was followed by a loving and passionate kiss. Before the wedding, Rubina had informed, “Abhinav and I have decided to exchange seven vows after the traditional wedding. I have written mine and I hope he has too. We have kept them secret from each other. Those vows are a new addition to our wedding and I can’t wait for that moment. Sharing his excitement on embarking the new journey of life with Rubina, Abhinav was quoted as saying, "Well, I couldn’t have been happier! Everything went off very well and we are so blessed to have got so much love and wishes from all those who are close to us. Rubina and I have been together since so long and she understands me completely. I am blessed to have her as my wife and I can’t wait to start this journey with her."

When Rubina and Abhinav completed their two months of marital life, he shared a gorgeous photo of his lovely wife and wrote, “Two months. The picture is symbolic of what she has done in my life. Lit it up, silently, unannounced and working in the backdrop so that I have a smile on my face!” To which, Rubina replied, “means the world to me”.

Speaking about how the newly-weds manage to steal some time for each other despite their hectic professional commitments, Rubina stated, “We hardly get to see each other after pack up because our schedules are pretty erratic, and they really don't coincide with each other's time. But we are enjoying this also because it's kind of exciting when you manage your personal and professional life and the balance you strike. Yes, this newness is interesting and exciting, and it has a lot of longing... just to see each other after pack up, for an hour or so. If I have some time, like 15-20 minutes, I bake something for Abhinav. I love to cook for him. So, we both just steal time for each other.”

Rubina and Abhinav share the love for travelling and photography, and she believes that their jodi is a match made in heaven. Rubina elaborated, “I feel extremely blessed to not only have a man like Abhinav [in my life] but to also have a soul, which is so adventurous yet very homely.
