On August 27, 2026, several social media posts used a certain template to wish the actor a happy birthday, and for a fraction of a second, the posts left Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul's fans shocked, thinking there was bad news. The templates were only used to wish Aaron a happy birthday. Apart from these posts, some users started falsely claiming that Aaron passed away. The actor is very much alive, and all the templates, posts, and claims about his passing are false.
Notably, Aaron's last social media post was from February 2026. Taking to his social media handle, the actor announced his online break. In the last post, the Breaking Bad actor had written that it was time for him to be a little less bored and more inspired, leading him to decide that he should keep his phone away. Aaron's exact words were:

Speaking of Aaron Paul's personal life, he has been married to Lauren Parsekian for over a decade. The couple met at the music festival Coachella in 2010. They initially started their relationship as friends. It was strictly platonic after their first meeting at Coachella; however, in their second meeting the following year at the festival, they fell in love. It was something like the 'first kiss on the Ferris wheel sort of thing' for Aaron, as he shared with PEOPLE. The couple started dating, and they, by then, knew that something 'real' was happening, almost like a 'once you know, you know' kind of thing.
The duo shared intense feelings for each other, so much so that they almost eloped. Yes! Aaron, during an interview with Elle, shared that after their first date at Coachella, they went on a trip to Vegas. The couple then booked a cab and asked the driver to take them to a chapel, as they wanted to get married. However, it couldn't happen because the chapel was closed. The duo got engaged a year later, in 2012, in Paris. Their wedding took place in 2013 at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California. Sharing the incident, Aaron said:
"We also jumped into a cab and said, 'Take us to the nearest chapel. We're getting married.' The Little White Chapel ended up being closed. We probably would have gone through with it. It would have been a pretty funny story. But I'm happy we got married when we did — a year later."
Aaron's wife, Lauren, is an activist who, back in 2009, along with her friend, Molly Thompson, began the Kind Campaign, which intends to help end girl-to-girl bullying. Lauren built this campaign after suffering from bullying as a child, which led her to face "severe depression and an eating disorder." Lauren is also a director, and along with Molly Thompson, she filmed the documentary, Finding Kind. Lauren and Aaron share two kids: a baby girl, Story Annabelle, who was born in February 2018, and a baby boy, Ryden Caspian, whom they welcomed in 2022.
