It all started a few days ago, when one of her Instagram posts sparked a major conversation on social media. Netizens speculated that she got married to her longtime boyfriend, Mohit Chawla. However, a few minutes ago, Aanchal shut down the gossip and revealed that the good news was not their marriage but their engagement!
A while ago, Aanchal Singh and her fiance, Mohit Chawla shared a joint Instagram post, through which they announced the good news of their engagement. They shared a series of photos from the ceremony. As per the cutesy snaps, the actress looked gorgeous in a pink-hued anarkali and statement jewellery, whereas Mohit opted for a traditional white attire, which looked like a sherwani. It looked as if the couple got exchanged in a beautifully decorated space.
In the first two photos, both Aanchal and Mohit can be seen on their knees as they exchanged rings. Further, they also posed for the camera and looked very happy. It is worth mentioning that the couple's family and close ones were present at the engagement ceremony. Along with the lovey-dovey snaps, Aanchal penned an emotional note, in which she recalled their first meeting and first conversation. Recently, in a chat with IANS, she spoke about engagement ring and said:
"I was drawn to its silhouette because it felt timeless, elegant and just a little unconventional, which reflects my personal style. More than the ring itself, what it truly represents is far more precious, the promise, the partnership and the life we're building together."
Aanchal Singh’s engagement has brought a lot of attention towards Mohit Chawla. Well, there is not much information available about him; however, as per reports, he is a businessman. Soon after confirming the engagement, the actress had a chat with IANS, during which she opened up about the proposal. Aanchal Singh was quoted as saying:
"After being together for a couple of years, you just know when you are moving towards spending your life together. While the proposal itself was beautiful, it wasn't really about being surprised. It was more about feeling certain. There wasn't one dramatic moment that changed everything. It was all the little moments over time that quietly brought us here. Looking back, that feeling of certainty is far more romantic to me than any grand gesture."
Further, when asked about their marriage plans, Aanchal Singh explained that the wedding is still in the planning stage. Both the families are enjoying this phase and want it to be beautiful yet emotional. Aanchal Singh shared:
"We're enjoying this phase because it only comes once, but we're also having the best time planning everything together with our families. It's been emotional, exciting and very special. There are so many beautiful moments from this journey that I can't wait to share. Love becomes beautiful when you stop trying to impress each other and simply start showing up for each other, every single day."
For the unversed, Aanchal Singh is a popular actress, who has worked in films, shows, music videos and web series. Even though she rose to fame with the crime thriller, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, Aanchal has also appeared in Undekhi, Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty and more. It is worth noting that she has also worked in Punjabi and Tamil cinema. Coming to her personal life, Aanchal prefers to keep it private.
