The actor's third wedding sparked a buzz; however, he remained unbothered. Throughout his acting career, Aamir Khan was linked to several actresses and continued to make headlines for the same. However, he has always been loved by his co-stars for who he is. Recently, actress Pooja Bedi revealed what happened when she was left in a locked room with Aamir Khan, following a steamy scene they had to shoot for a film, which never aired.
In a recent interview with Vickey Lalwani, Pooja Bedi spoke about the link-up buzz surrounding her and Aamir Khan and revealed whether it was true. The speculations stemmed from the couple's chemistry in the movie, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.
Pooja denied the claims and revealed an incident that occurred when she was offered a guest role in the movie Aatank Hi Aatank. The scene Pooja referred to recently, never aired; however, in the same interview, Pooja revealed the sequence that she had to shoot with Aamir Khan, which featured her being wet in the rain and some hot and heavy scenes with the actor. Sharing more about the same, Pooja revealed:
"There is a scene that never got aired. It was a passionate love-making scene between Aamir Khan and me. In the ad, I was almost being raped by the bad guy, and Aamir comes and rescues me. It was raining and all of that. He fights off the bad guy, picks me up and takes me to safety. As he takes me, I am all wet, and then there was this passionate love-making scene that we shot. Back then, you didn’t have these kinds of scenes."
Pooja Bedi went on to reveal that after the shoot, she and Aamir were kept inside a room at the shooting location. There was a bed in the place, and Pooja was spiraling with several thoughts. Given the major conversation about the industry's dark side, Pooja, a young actress back then, was struck by the same thoughts.
However, Aamir Khan broke the ice and asked her if she wanted to play chess. The actress called Aamir a 'good and decent man' who is 'not like her dirty co-star'. Sharing about the incident, Pooja Bedi revealed:
"I was sitting in the room, Aamir was sitting in the room, and there was this bed there. A million thoughts were going through my head as a young actress. I was thinking, ‘Is this the part they talk about in Bollywood? What should I be expecting?’ I was all confused. Aamir was sitting in silence, and I was sitting in silence. Aamir looked up and said, ‘Will you play chess?’ I said yes. Then he asked someone to get the chessboard, and I took a sigh of relief."
In her personal life, Pooja Bedi was married and divorced. She married businessman Farhan Furniturewala in 1994 and divorced in 2003. Pooja has two kids with her ex-husband, Alaya F and Omar. Following her divorce, Pooja never remarried; however, she got engaged to her partner, Maneck Contractor. The couple has been engaged for eight years now, and they decided not to get married.
A week ago, Pooja talked about the same and revealed that the idea of marriage has evolved: it's the commitment that matters most, because that is the basis; after that, what's left is signing a piece of paper and getting the government involved in the affair. Pooja also revealed that being unmarried helps her keep her finances simpler, as her assets will go to her kids and his will go to his. She called her relationship a conscious choice, in which two people are together because they chose to be, not because they were bound to be together.
