Anurag Kashyap's daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap celebrated her 21st birthday in a grand manner and shared a series of pictures and videos from the same on her IG handle.
Anurag Kashyap had fallen madly in love with film editor, Aarti Bajaj. After being in a live-in relationship for some time, they had embraced parenthood in 2001 with the arrival of a daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap. Anurag and Aarti had tied the knot in 2003. However, after four years of married life, their relationship had fallen apart and the two had separated in 2007. Later, in 2009, they were granted a divorce. However, amidst all this, they ensured that their daughter, Aaliyah never run out of her parents’ love and support.
On January 9, 2022, Aaliyah Kashyap turned 21 and her doting daddy, Anurag Kashyap shared an adorable wish for her. He shared a childhood picture of Aaliyah, looking like a goofball lying on the bed. Along with it, Anurag penned a birthday wish for her and wrote:
“And she is already 21.. I liked her like this when she was 9 years old.. I am now a bonafide old man.. I love you @aaliyahkashyap.. Why can’t you just go back in time… I miss that little aalu.”

As Aaliyah Kashyap turned 21, she hosted a grand birthday party for her friends at her home and shared some glimpses from the same on her IG handle. Her house was decorated with balloons and streamers. There was an elaborate dessert spread which included macarons, cinnamon rolls and cupcakes. In her birthday post, she shared a series of pictures and a video showcasing her birthday décor. In one picture, her boyfriend, Shane Gregoire can be seen kissing her passionately. We also got hold of some videos from Aaliyah’s birthday on her fan page. Sharing the birthday post, she wrote:
“21st birthday dump. I just want to thank everyone for all the sweetest birthday DMs, edits and messages, I’m so grateful for each and everyone one of you. Thank you to everyone who made my day so special despite the current circumstances. Also thank you to @rakshithaharimurthy @risston.co for making my small brunch so special.”
On Aaliyah’s 21st birthday, her boyfriend, Shane Gregoire shared a series of pictures and a video on his IG handle to wish her. His post was all about the comfort they share as a couple and he captioned it as: “My Aaliyah… you mean so much to me. You are a special gift in my life that I have the blessing to experience each day... Happy Birthday my sweet girl, I love you.”

He had taken to his IG handle and had shared an adorable throwback picture with Aaliyah, where she could be seen clinging to her daddy. Along with the picture, Anurag had written:

Not just Anurag, but Aaliyah’s boyfriend, Shane Gregoire, too, had wished his ‘Indian queen’ with an array of pictures on her 20th birthday. Sharing pictures, he had written:
“Happy Birthday to my indian queen @aaliyahkashyap. Thank you for adding even more color to my life and being as weird as I am. Love you big girl… you are a very special person and I can’t wait to see what you do next. #cakemurder.”
