Bollywood actress, Swara Bhasker, is popular for her roles in films like Raanjhanaa, Veere Di Wedding, and Tanu Weds Manu. She got married to Samajwadi Party's state youth president, Fahad Ahmad in February 2023 under the Special Marriage Act. In June of the same year, the actress took to her Instagram account and shared that the couple was going to be parents soon. On September 23, 2023, Swara and Fahad announced the arrival of their baby girl, Raabiyaa.
On April 8, 2024, Swara took to her Instagram account and uploaded a few pictures from the first rice ceremony, also known as ‘annaprashan’, of her little one, Raabiyaa. For the ceremony, the latter looked cute as a button in a red-printed frock paired with a boe-adorned hairband. Meanwhile, Swara donned a navy-blue kurta and her husband, Fahad wore a white kurta. Moreover, the actress did not reveal the face of her daughter in the pictures.

In one of the glimpses, Swara was seen feeding Raabiyaa while Fahad held his daughter in his arms. The actress also captured a few fun-filled pictures of her husband playing with their little girl. Swara’s parents, Ira Bhaskar and C. Uday Bhaskar were also present on their granddaughter’s special day. Furthermore, as per norms, during the first rice ceremony, a baby is made to choose his/her future profession. Similarly, Swara also followed the ritual and her daughter, Raabiyaa chose the xylophone, indicating her interest in the arts. Swara uploaded the picture and wrote:
“Of course, she chose a financially unstable and risky profession like being an artist.”

Swara Bhasker turned another year older on April 9, 2024. For the same, her doting husband, Fahad shared a picture of the actress cutting a cake accompanied by a heartfelt note. In the snap, Swara donned a yellow dress and was seen celebrating her birthday amidst her family. Sharing how Swara has lighted their lives, Fahad penned:
“Many many happy returns of the day, love. Thank you for coming in our lives and lighting it like a magic lamp.”
Moreover, Fahad also uploaded a picture of themselves in which Swara was decked out in a beautiful saree while the politician fondly looked at her. In another story, Swara’s husband said that before the actress turns another year older, the couple needs to finish their long travel list together.
