Salman Khan is hailed as 'bhaijaan' by the entire nation and the superstar is counted amongst some of the most bankable actors in the industry. However, the actor is also on the hit list of Lawrence Bishnoi due to his alleged involvement in the black buck killing case. For the same, Salman had also got many death threats earlier. However, the incident that took place on April 14, 2024, left the entire social media shell-shocked. As per reports, two men opened fire at Salman's Bandra residence, Galaxy apartment, and the investigations are still in process.
Salman Khan's friends and family became extremely worried about it. Thus, they were constantly being spotted visiting him. However, until a few hours ago, the actor's glimpse was seen nowhere. Finally, a video surfaced on social media on the morning of April 16, 2024, wherein he was spotted outside his residence for the first time after the open-firing incident. But he had tight security, and proof of this was seen in the same video.

Both the individuals, who were allegedly involved in the open firing incident outside Salman Khan's residence, have been arrested. As per reports, they fled Mumbai after the shooting incident, and have been caught in Bhuj city, Gujarat. They are all set to be brought to Mumbai for further investigation on April 16, 2024, according to ANI. They will be presented in court in the afternoon.
Several reports claimed Salim Khan called the entire incident a 'publicity stunt', and Salman was unbothered by the incident and only worried about his family's well-being. However, on April 15, 2024, Arbaaz Khan released a statement on his official IG handle, and mentioned how the entire Khan family is really disturbed and shocked by the horrifying incident. Debunking Salim and Salman's statements on the same incident, Arbaaz then stated that no one from the family had opened up about the same, and were currently cooperating with the Mumbai police for further investigation.

Soon after the incident, people concerned with the Police department also spotted marks of the bullets on the walls of Salman's residence. Moreover, a report by the ANI claimed that two persons arrived on motorcycles and opened fire at Salman Khan's Galaxy apartment at around 5 am. Soon after the shocking incident, Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the same. He mentioned that the incident was only a trailer and the last warning. Anmol, in a statement, mentioned:
"We want peace. If the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it. Salman Khan, we have only shown you a trailer so that you understand the magnitude of our strength and do not test it. This is the first and last warning. Also, we have two pet dogs named after Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel, whom you consider your Gods. I don't want to say much. Jai Shri Ram!”
