However, Deepika debuted in Bollywood with the 2007 film, Om Shanti Om and played the role of 'Shanti Priya' in there. The role is still considered as one of Deepika's finest performances, and to date, everyone is in awe of 'Shanti Priya's fashion sense. Taking the cue of the same, Jannat dressed as 'Shanti Priya' on her sister's Bollywood night.
Jannat not only dressed as 'Shanti Priya' but also imitated the car entry similar to the actress's in the film. She even waved at the people present there, in the same style and poise. For the night, Jannat donned a pink gharara set with silver embroidery. She paired the dress with a diamond and ruby set and tied her hair in a twisted French bun.

Jannata Mirza took to her Instagram account and shared a carousel of pictures of herself dressed as 'Shanti Priya'. Meanwhile, a section of the netizens were in awe of her beauty and praised her for beautifully carrying herself. Others ridiculed her for trying to match up to Deepika Padukone.
