It looks like that one of the most-awaited weddings of the year is going to make us wait a bit more than expected. Well, we are talking about the wedding of Bollywood heartthrob, Shahid Kapoor, and his Delhi-based fiancée, Mira Rajput. While a lot of reports earlier suggested that the two may tie the knot on June 10, 2015, the wedding is now expected to happen on July 10, 2015. Apart from the change in wedding date, the venue is also expected to have been changed from Greece to Delhi. And, here are all the latest updates related to the wedding of this gorgeous couple.
Shahid Kapoor, who was in Malaysia recently to attend the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) awards, was questioned whether he would be getting married on June 10, to which he replied:
“It's surprising how others know more about my wedding than I do. I want to tell the people out there that like I update them about my films, I will also update you about my personal life.”

And now, a source close to the actor has been quoted by a tabloid saying:
“He has asked us to block dates between July 5 and 8 for his sangeet and wedding ceremonies. I think the nuptials will take place on July 8 unless I have got it wrong."
Another leading daily also mentioned something similar as a source has told them that wedding will take place in July, in Delhi. The source said:
“Shahid is definitely getting married in July. We’ve all been asked to be free that time.”
While there is no revelation of the exact wedding date yet again, many media reports are now suggesting it to be July 10, 2015. Shahid and Mira’s wedding is expected to be a private affair, which would be attended only by their family members and close friends. The actor will later host a reception party in Mumbai for all his friends from the film industry.
And, now that the Greece wedding plans seem to have been cancelled, a lot of reports suggest that the actor might host his bachelor party in the country by the end of this month. The news is based on the statement as provided by a source close to him:
“Sasha (Shahid) is going round the bend. He has to complete a schedule for Udta Punjab and shoot for the promotional material of his next film. He has also been approached to judge a dance reality show. And in between, he has a bachelor party planned overseas.”
