Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have always been protective of their kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. But the fandom enjoyed by her elder son, Taimur ever since his birth is unfathomable. So much so that whenever Taimur steps out of his home, the celeb kid gets constantly clicked by the paps.
In a conversation with Forbes India, Kareena talked about her son, Taimur getting constant attention from the paps. Revealing how she and Saif indirectly tell Taimur that paps take his pictures because his parents are famous. In her words:
“I think now, he is obviously used to it. But it’s difficult because… I mean if you kind of tell him that ‘hide your face, don’t do this, don’t do that’, I think that would be too much. So, in a way, we have tried to explain directly to him that they are taking your pictures because your parents are actors, your parents are famous. You are not.”

In the same conversation, Kareena also stated how Taimur reacts to the same and often asks her whether he is a VIP. Elaborating on the same, she said:
“So, he keeps asking me that, ‘Am I VIP?’ and I am like ‘No, you are not. May be your parents are… I don’t know. But you are not, you are nothing’. So he is like growing with this to understand that ‘my parents are this. I don’t know why they keep clicking me. I need to do something with my life’. So we are being very honest with him.”
In the times, when celebs are sceptical about their kids being papped or their photos being circulated on social media, Kareena is never bothered about the same. The actress has come to terms with the fact that being a public figure, her kids will get the same attention as she does.

Though Kareena doesn’t mind Paps clicking Taimur and Jeh’s pictures, she also tells them to respect the kids' privacy when they are at school or with their friends, to which they agree. In a throwback conversation with Hindustan Times, Kareena spoke about the same and said:
“I give respect to my fans on Instagram, I let you into my life, maybe not a 100 percent. I make everybody feel involved in my life, and that’s something why my fans are still so involved.”
