Dino Morea and John Abraham's journeys from modeling to films have been quite similar. In the early 2000s, John and Dino were considered the most dashing actors. They were the faces of every tabloid in the country. However, many thought they were rivals, and they often made headlines for this. Recently, Dino first revealed whether John was the reason behind his breakup with Bipasha Basu.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Dino Morea opened up about John Abraham and how people thought that he was dating his girlfriend, Bipasha. However, it wasn't the case as Bipasha and Dino had broken up a year before John came into his ex's life. Dino further added that the media also fueled this, but it had no truth to it. He was quoted as saying:
"We never had any rivalry. We used to talk to each other and have fun with each other. The talk about the rivalry between us started in people’s minds after I broke up with Bipasha and he started dating Bipasha. People started thinking that he was dating my girlfriend, so there was a rivalry, media also fueled this."

Dino added that he and Bipasha had broken up way before, and there was no animosity as he was also in a relationship with someone else. He added people painted the picture in their head that it was John, who took his girlfriend. Dino stated:
"I am clarifying it after years. Me and Bipasha broke up and almost one year after that they started dating, and I had started dating somebody else. So, why would there be any animosity? People thought that John took my girlfriend but it was nothing like that. The three of us used to talk but people made it into something else."
Not only this, Dino also talked about his relationship with Bipasha. He added that Bipasha hailed for Calcutta, while he comes from Bangalore. Dino also revealed that they were introduced by a common friend, who had set them up for a blind date. He was quoted as saying:
"She came from Calcutta, I came from Bangalore. We were introduced by a common friend, she set up a blind date. I just heard that some supermodel is coming and I was also a supermodel. We went on a blind date, it was weird but we started dating soon after that. It was great because we both were starting."
Dino also added that they parted ways during the shoot of their hit film, Raaz. He said they were more or less over their relationship, and it was a difficult time. However, after they had worked on another film, Gunaahi that was the most difficult phase as it was over. Cut to the present, Bipasha is happily married to Karan Singh Grover, and they also have a daughter, Devi.
