Farhan and Shibani had made their first public appearance at Deepika and Ranveer's reception party. Since then, they have never kept their relationship away from the media glare.
Farhan and Shibani have faced a lot of trolling and hate comments for their relationship as Farhan was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani.
After Farhan's divorce with Adhuna they have been co-parenting their kids, Akira and Shakya. However, Shibani shares a beautiful bond with both of his daughters.

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are all set to tie the knot on February 19, 2022 in Khandala. Their pre-wedding ceremonies started off with 'shagun ki mehendi' and 'haldi'.
Their wedding news was confirmed by his father, Javed Akhtar. His mom, Honey Irani had said, "Shibani is a very lovely child and so beautiful and is extremely respectful towards others."
Farhan's mom further had mentioned about her 'bahu'-to-be, "She mixes with the family very well. I meet Shibani every second day. They just live next door. We also went on a holiday to the Maldives."
Every now and then, the madly-in-love couple, Farhan and Shibani drop mushy PDAs and romantic pictures on their respective social media handles.
