Yeison Jiménez had recurring dreams of dying in a plane crash

What makes Yeison's death eerily tragic is that he had a premonition about it not so long ago. Just a few days ago, the singer had openly shared how he had recurring dreams of dying in a plane crash. In a December 2025 interview on Se Dice de Mí, Yeison recalled a previous brush with death when he miraculously survived. "I dreamed three times of getting into a plane crash... and in one of the dreams, I had dreamed that we had killed each other, and that we were on the news. It was the third time I had dreamed about that. God gave me three signs."

Whether it was a prediction of his fate or simply a big coincidence, the timing of it all has made the incident hauntingly tragic.

What caused the crash?

According to Colombian civil aviation authorities, the aircraft, a Piper PA-31 private plane registered as N325FA, attempted to take off at its scheduled time from the Juan José Rondón Airport. During the takeoff, the plane reportedly struggled to gain altitude and crashed within seconds after leaving the runway near the La Romerita river, between Paipa and Duitama in Boyacá.
